Chapter 27

Sam's(vendetta's) pov:

The morning came and I woke up , my powers where stable after fighting that low overlord yesterday ,.. I felt warmth engulf me ... alastors memory.. I sighed and relaxed "good morning Darling" his voice rang through my mind as the memory flew by .

I slowly went out of bed and started with my regular routine , nothing much just enjoying my time at home .. I had no crazy meetings .. no business to attend to and definitely the souls I currently owned had not too much problems being alone for a few days .. no letters came in from them so everything should be good for once ..

After having breakfast and stepping into my clothes I went to sit down on the Poarch to enjoy some sunshine that shone through the trees of the bayou I created from memory .. I sighed at this and closed my eyes for a moment ... that moment turned into hours especially as my mind was drifting off to the past . How I missed those days ...

"Miss Vendettaaaa!" I heard a yell and quick running footsteps coming closer to the dome .
I opened my eyes to see one of the cannibal kids running over with a hand in the air waving .
I opened the dome and waved back at him "what's going one kiddo !" I yelled back .
"Aunt Rosie has sent me ... the radio demon wants a meeting with you !" He said out of breath .
I cocked an eyebrow "the radio demon wants business with me ? What the —" I shook my head . It must be that tall red guy from the overlord meeting ...
I sighed at turned to the kid "the guy still at Rosie's? Or did he went back to his place until further notice?" I asked the kid softly . "He wanted to wait for an answer miss..." the kid looked down in embarrassment.
I shook my head , I knew how to deal with him .. he definitely had the same inpatient attitude as my love Al .. so I decided to let him wait just a tad more longer then usual . I urged the kid into the house and gave him a glass of blood "here you go kid , drink up ... that run must've been exhausting and it ain't cold here" i chuckled .
The kid smiled at me "thank you miss Vendetta " he gulped it up and sighed at the refreshing taste .

"So kid, you're here for the answer for the radio demon ,.. tell Rosie that this is my answer .....I will do a meeting with him but it won't be until tomorrow and I will find him .. the only thing he has to do is wait at his own place and I'll find him " I said to the kid and gave him a little pat on the head . "Will do miss vendetta " he smiled and waved again before he sprinted back to cannibal town .

Time was ticking by and a little more then an hour had passed , the kid ran through the doors back into Rosie's store, went up to Rosie and whispered "aunt Rosie, vendetta said she agrees on a meeting but it won't be until tomorrow and she'll find Alastor out .. he just needs to stay home " then the kid parted with rosie ,.. Rosie thanked the kid and he went out of the store .

Rosie said what I said to the kid and Alastor sighed at this .. I made him wait till tomorrow .. I didn't want to ruin my free day .. I chuckled at this thought .

The day passed by slowly and at noon I decided to visit Rosie myself .. I walked there .. opening the doors and Rosie perked up giving me a wave .
" so you agreed on that meeting with the radio demon ,.. I'm sure you'll love him"she beamed.
I shook my head again in amusement " I'm simply wondering why an overlord of his caliber wants to meet me Rosie" I replied with a chuckle.
"Oh I bet he has the hots for you my dear ! Didn't you see the way he looked at you at that meeting ? " Rosie swung her hips from left to right mocking the gesture of being adored . "He seems familiar though .. but I can't really but my finger on it .." I sighed .."but yes I noticed his looks at the meeting.. " I held my hand up once more.. still alastors engagement ring on my finger from when we where both alive .

Rosie huffed and waved it off "deary ,.. just give it a chance ! You haven't found that fiancé of yours here in hell and you already said he couldn't be in heaven so either he's is missing or exterminated " Rosie said .

"I know .. but there still this speck of hope .. how weird that still sounds .." I sighed .

"Also you told him that he can't be informal at the meeting right ?" I asked Rosie .
"Yes of course , just status and why he wants to meet you .. also he hasn't even told me why .. and usually he definitely does .." Rosie questioned herself at this point ...

"I'll find out what that lovely radio demon of a friend of yours wants tomorrow .. I heard a little birdie say he stays at the Hazbin hotel " I smirked at that .

"No way,. So practically home ground for you? How long has it been since you've seen the princess ?" Rosie asked as I lounged on her couch.

"Hmm a few years now ? I bet she doesn't mind that I show up at her doorstep" I chuckled .

"Definitely not Vendetta ,.. she probably will love seeing you after all this time !" Rosie smiled at me .

Time was ticking by quickly and the evening fell already "welp it getting late Rosie ,.. it's time for me to return home now " I smiled and gave her a hug .

"Good luck tomorrow with that meeting Vendetta , oh and don't forget to come back and tell me about it alright ?"

I nodded and walked back home ,.. as soon as I entered the dome I felt a peaceful air form around me .. I fell asleep that night with no dreams .. just a dark void of nothingness..
