Chapter 40

As the hotel got rebuild and everything was as far together again that only details remained and that in such a short amount of time everyone took time to rest up in their rooms .

For me an Al though we decided to take some days off and stay at our own house before returning to the hotel . We both settled in nicely like we did before we died ,.. Sam walked up to Alastor slowly wrapping her arms around his waist .. again the flinching from the wound "Al , it heals slower then usual doesn't it ?" I asked him softly . He looked over his shoulder trying to keep his smile up but I simply saw through it "Al please ,.. I know you too well for this " I whispered . He sighed and spoke through grinned teeth "it .. heals slow , too slow and it makes me angry.. I never have healed this slow in hell"
The emotion showing in his eyes and voice for once .. he knew he couldn't dance around it as I'd see through his façade in an instant .
"Al it will be alright, take some rest .. you've been pushing yourself hard lately and those bags under your eyes don't lie " I said to him slowly moving my hands next to his wounds . He sighed once more , I knew he wasn't really one to slow down but he had to and he knew it .
"You , me .. bed now " he said slamming whatever he had in his hands down on the counter .
I tugged him along .. and no this wouldn't be one of those moment ,.. just sleeping would be fine .
He settled down in the bed as I joined him , laying my head on his shoulder , slowly moving my hand on his chest rubbing in soothing circles ."you really know me too well Sam, it sometimes terrifies me .. you know all my weak spots .. I love you truly but here in hell it—it's scary sometimes .. I'm also afraid of losing you " he looked down at me , finally telling me what was on his chest .
"Al you know that whatever happens I'll never leave you ,.. either you kill me or someone else does but I'd never ... besides that who would be so stupid to stand up to the two of us .. they must be out of their minds " I replied softly looking up at him . "I don't think I can handle it if I will loose you again .. I know .. I know it sounds stupid coming from me .. but I .. can't " Alastor said back giving me a peck on my head .
"Al first of all you're staying here until you're fully rested , I don't care how long it takes .. you're tired and you need to heal .. I'm staying here right by your side " .

I heard a satisfying humm coming from him .
Meaning he was happy with what I was saying .
Suddenly I felt his breathing become slower , the poor man was absolutely exhausted and had drifted off to sleep , a soft smile creeping up on my face , finally a peaceful rest for him .. one that he deserved so much .

3 weeks went by as we stayed in our home , I finally saw the grace and flair Alastor always had around him , he rested up well and his wound was almost done healing , leaving him with a scar though . "Al what do you say ? Want to head to the hotel next week ?" I asked him .
"Sure do Mon Cher , I'm feeling really good lately and you seem to be glowing as well ! " he said walking closer to me and as he finished his sentence he kissed me softly .

Hmm me glowing ? Did I look different or ..?
I shrugged it off and went with it , as the next 7 days went by we went back to the hotel , as soon as we stepped through the door everyone greeted us happily. "We are soooo happy you two are back " Charlie yelled giving me a hug as she shook Alastor's hand .

"We are glad to be back too, we both had our rest and we are ready to help again " I replied to Charlie . Alastor walked upstairs with our stuff as I catched up with the rest of the sinners "hey toots! What have you been up to ? You look different.,,? I'd say you look like you're glowing " angel said . "Probably had some good rest ,. You know that'll do some good " I smiled back , kinda freaked out why angel mentioned I was glowing .

Suddenly husker walked up to me" Sam ,.. are .. are you pregnant?" My eyes widening at the words said to me . "What do you mean? I— not that I'm aware of anyway .." I replied to husker .
"Last time I saw someone glowing it was my wife in the living world when she was .. ya know " he said back . Thoughts running a mile per hour through my mind ,.. it's been what ? .. almost 4 weeks since both Alastor and i went though out heat and rut together .. "oohhh fuck" I said too plainly and too loudly literally pulling myself out of my thoughts .
