Chapter 23

Sam's(Vendetta's) Pov:

Being a well known overlord of hell myself wasn't always an easy task, especially as I was taking care of the souls I owned .. not just using or abusing them. When troubled they inquired for me to help them out , but only if they couldn't fix it themselves . As I was living behind cannibal town that was Rosie's place I decided to work together with her , she was very kind to her people and I gladly helped her out if her people were in trouble . Only Rosie knew where I lived as my home was protected by the powers I acquired in hell , keeping my place usually off the surface for people who didn't belong .

If Rosie needed me she either came over her selves or sended one of the cannibal kids over, mostly because I was good with kids due to being a mother up in the living world and my time with little Charlie .

I was home as I heard a small voice yell out "vendetta ! Vendetta !" A little cannibal kid came running over .
"My dear ! What's the matter ?" I asked as I let the little kid into my save space .
"Rosie has sent me, she would like you to come over to her place to discuss something .." the kid said. "Tell Rosie I'll be with her in 30 minutes " and I send the kid back to Rosie .

I walked into the house , giving the memory of little jack a hug and walked to alastors memory "see you soon love" I said . Alastors memory nodded and smiled , I could only transfer whatever they've done in the past and nothing new. So either gestures or old conversations where able to pass through .

I walked out of the dome protecting my home and it disappeared for strangers eyes as it never existed.
I walked to cannibal town not even bothering traveling through shadows or any of my other antics . Unbothered I walked into Rosie's store "Rosie !" I yelled . "Vendetta ! You're here !"rosie beamed with a big smile giving me a hug .

She walked me to her back room and sat me down at her lovely table "tea and a snack?" Rosie asked.
"Just tea today " I smiled back. Rosie chuckled at that, making tea and grabbing a little pinky for herself .

She sat my cup down at the table and took a seat across me ."I wanted to discuss something with you , as you're one of the more powerful overlords .. the others wanted me to tell you that we have a meeting in two days and we really want you to be there " Rosie said sipping on her tea .
I sighed I hated meetings plus I had a business meeting in two days as well .. a tricky one to be sure " I do want to join... but I do have a business meeting as well that day and I'm not sure if I'll be on time ... but I'll do my best to join " I replied taking a sip of my tea as well .

"You're absolutely amazing vendetta, I'm sure you'll finish that business meeting sooner then later " she chuckled . "Oh Rosie , you know how I love to hunt "I laughed at her remark .
Rosie shook her head at that but agreed nonetheless at what I said to her . She knew I love to play with my business deals instead of making it quick .

After we both finished our tea and I left her store I walked through cannibal town into the territory of the V's, I hated them but they were overlords as well and I had to deal with them anyway .

Suddenly I noticed a group of people infront of two stores, one with a single radio and the other with multiple tv screens... it looked like Vox was arguing with someone ... the voice seemed familiar but also different at the same time .. could this be the radio demon Rosie told me about ? Wasn't he gone for a long time ?

I shook my head and deemed it impossible, yet I got enthralled by the way the voice on the radio manipulated and bested Vox in his own game.
Vox went over his head and lost this battle of besting , it made me chuckle .. it was hilarious to see vox loose this game .. after this I walked further through town and went into some stores to buy some new clothes.

Mostly because the chances were that some of it would be ruined in the next business meeting plus I had that meeting of the overlords coming up . I let my hands run over the clothing and stopped at a gorgeous dress, the style was from my living time around the 1930's and the colors where mostly black with a slight tint of red at the bottom , making it extremely elegant.. "Al would've loved it " I thought to myself .
Without hesitation I bought it and went back home , this time morphing into the shadows and popping back up right outside the dome , concentrating in silence the dome opened up to reveal the house that was hidden underneath it .

I walked through it and stepped inside the house, I put the dress away and walked to the kitchen .
I snapped my fingers to reveal a good plate of jambalaya, I sat down and dug in , savouring the taste and opening up memories of the past .
I looked up to see a memory of Alastor "you like it ? It's my mother recipe .. my favorite!"

I sighed at the memory, he loved jambalaya and so did I . Thanks to his lovely mother , I honestly wish he was here ... sound weird right ? I have his memory but I sort of did expect to run into him here in hell at least ... but that never happened in the last 7 years ... what if he was exterminated or ... I stopped my track of thinking right there ...
I sighed once more pushing it away and shoving another spoonfull of jambalaya into my mouth .
After I finished and snapped the plate away I went up to take a shower and sleep the night away .

You'd say in hell you have nightmares , sometimes you do but this night was full of dreams of him and my little one ....
