Chapter 26

Alastors pov:

A few days went by at the hotel and I still needed that short meeting with Rosie about Vendetta.

When finally everything calmed down at the hotel I took my leave and went to Rosie , I walked through pentagram city and onwards to cannibal town , a lot of other sinners ran when they saw me but I couldn't care less as it was too entertaining to see them so afraid.

When I arrived at cannibal town and saw Rosie's store coming into few I sighed out of relief .
Rosie would surely know more about vendetta , the woman was intriguing , fast , strong and a true hunter . I chuckled at the thought as one way or another she reminded me of my in life fiancé Sam yet she couldn't be down here , she was too sweet and must be in heaven when she will die.

I walked through the doors of Rosie's store "Alastor ! Is that you ! Oh my I haven't seen you here in such a long time ! " Rosie walked over to me and hugged me , she truly was my best friend.

"Ah Rosie , it's such a pleasure to see you again " I replied . When we both let go of each other she made me coffee .. dark with nothing added .. just how I like it " so Alastor , what brings you here ?" Rosie asked after she sat down my coffee on the table and took a seat herself .

"Well I want to talk about that new overlord? Vendetta if my ears didn't deceive me " I asked her with curiosity. Rosie her eyebrows shot up "oh .. I uhh .. " Rosie trampled over her words . That was a new one for me , she usually talks freely about everything . I looked questionably at Rosie "Rosie ? Please enlighten me and tell me who she is and what her position in hell is as it seems like you know her well ,.. hmm?" I asked once again .

Rosie sighed "I only can tell you so much Alastor ,.. even if I'd like to tell you more I simply can't .. but yes her name is vendetta ... she's been an overlord for some years now .. she once lived inside of Lucifer's castle and took care of the princess... meanwhile she made some heavy loaded deals with sinners and other overlords ... she is considered one of the most powerful overlords of hell ..." Rosie answered.

I frowned yet keeping my smile present "so this woman has been active for how long now ?"

"A total of 7 years ,.. ever since you've been gone Alastor ... not immediately but she became active after a year of living in hell ... she's not that bad to be honest " Rosie smiled at that last part .

"What is she to you Rosie ?" I asked Rosie with a more serious tone in my voice .

Rosie looked away for a second and sighed frowning a little at this question" I have a deal with her Alastor, if needed she'll protect my people for whatever is to come .. even in time of extermination.. I.. I like her a lot to be honest ... and I think if you'd get to know her ,.. you'd like her too Alastor " Rosie replied honestly .

Thought running through my mind ,.. I'd could make a deal with vendetta as she is very powerful ,. But she seems unfindable ...
"So my dear friend ,.. where can I find vendetta?" I asked cocking my head to the side in entertainment.

"Oh Al ,.. that's not how it works with vendetta ... either way you inquire a meeting through me or she'll find you " Rosie replied nervously .
"So you know where she lives ? Tell me my friend I'm sure she wouldn't mind " I asked Rosie once more . "Sorry Alastor I .. I can't do that .. it's part of our deal ..'m sorry " Rosie replied looking away .

I sighed , she was very hard to find without anyone knowing where she stayed and Rosie couldn't do anything as her deal wouldn't let her ... I tried tracing her through the shadows but with no success...

"Fine ,.. can you inquire a meeting then ... ?" I growled out in annoyance.

"Yes of course ,.. Al please either you can wait here or you can return later to find out when she'll meet you " Rosie replied as she called over a cannibal kid and whispered into his ear as she waved him off ... how strange ...

"I'll wait ,.. how long does it usually take ?" I asked annoyed .
"Not that long ,.. usually an hour or so if she's home " Rosie replied as she made another cup of coffee for me .

I sighed once more ,.. I hated it .. I want in control of this meeting and didn't know what to expect from this vendetta ..

Rosie walked back to me handing me a second cup of coffee while she made herself tea , she sat back down and I looked at her "anything specific I need to know before meeting her ?" I asked .

She looked at me nervously "inquire who you are without telling her your name, just your status ...and why you want a meeting with her .." Rosie replied . "Why can't I say my name ? And what status you mean ?" I asked her curiously.

"She hasn't called anyone except me and carmilla by their first name... just say you're the radio demon .." Rosie couldn't even finish her sentence as I interrupted her "what's the deal with that ,..?" I asked annoyed. "Don't question in Al, just keep it in mind .. her backstory is something I can't tell you .. if you want to know it you have to find out yourself " Rosie replied .

One hour passed by and suddenly the cannibal kid came running through the door , went to Rosie and whispered in her ear .. she thanked the kid and he went out of the store .

Rosie turned to me and said " Vendetta will come to you tomorrow , just wait at your staying place ..."

I nodded , so vendetta would come to the hotel ?
"Thank you Rosie , I'll see you soon" I walked out of the store and walked through the city back to the hotel , thought spinning in my mind .. tomorrow I'll have that meeting with vendetta but I still have no idea what to expect ... there's definitely something I want to talk about ... but I might even think about making a deal with her ....

I returned back to the hotel and saw Charlie "I'm expecting a guest tomorrow ,.. she's quiet the lady" I said to her .
Charlie nodded "it great to hear someone comes over for you Alastor !" Charlie's eyes where sparkling at the though a woman would come and visit Alastor .

She didn't know yet that it would be vendetta who'd come and pay a visit ...
