Chapter 28

Alastors pov:

Today was the day that I'd be meeting vendetta, the female overlord had intrigued me since I set my eyes on her ... she seemed familiar, extremely powerful and pretty ? Wait ... pretty ?
It seems like something inside me had stirred , something I haven't felt before since I arrived in hell ... I truly thought vendetta was pretty ?

I sighed for a moment , I was engaged in the living world and unfortunately I didn't even had the chance to marry her ...
I .. I couldn't be unfaithful to her ? Right ?
If she was living she wouldn't marry another ? Right ? And if she wasn't alive anymore she would be definitely in heaven ... Sam was an angel , even when she found out I murdered a lot of people .. she always had my back and I didn't need to worry about her leaving or telling anyone ...

I hummed lowly to myself thinking it through ,.. I did feed her human flesh ... but that wouldn't be enough to end up in hell right ?
Those thoughts ran through my head ...at a million miles per hour all the evens ran through my mind of the past ... how I met her , how my mother had confinced me to go out with her .. how I actually started to like her and indulged the choice of asking her to marry me .. and of course our nightly rendezvous .

I sighed once more ,.. she could never be here ...
When those thoughts slowly faded I heard someone knock at the front door of the hotel .

From a far distance I heared Charlie yell "oh a visitor ! I'll get it !" The sound of the door creaking open I heard Charlie squeal in excitement "Aunt V! , I can't believe it !"

"Aunt V?" I asked myself , who in hells name would Charlie call aunt V?

"Oh dear what have you grown! Are you running this place all by yourself?" The female voice asked .
"Well yes sort of but I have help ! Vaggie my girlfriend helps me a lot and... husker is doing the bar ... nifty does all the cleaning work and .., " before Charlie could finish , the female voice broke her sentence "and the radio demon ? What does he do around here ?" From my room I perked up at this ... she was asking for me ? Could this be vendetta ?

"Ah yes he does a lot around here to be honest ,.. if something break he fixes it and he actually made husker and nifty work here .." Charlie replied. "How lovely my dear,.. taking about the radio demon ... I'm here for him "

Ah so it was Vendetta after all ... I disappeared into the shadows only to pop up next to Charlie "ah I heard you call for me hmmm?" I said with a tint of humor in my voice .

Charlie pipped up a bit as she got scared by me suddenly popping up next to her , vendetta just smiled at me as if she was expecting me to tune in like that .

"Ah there you are " vendetta replied .
"Charlie ,.. I promise to bring him back as soon as I can, can't steal him off his duties too long can I " vendetta chuckled and hugged Charlie .
"That's okay Aunt V, I will see him pop up again after you two are done" Charlie waved us out as vendetta took me with her to take a walk through the city .

"Aunt V?" I asked vendetta , "it's a long story but to cut it short .. I actually took care of her when Lilith disappeared and Lucifer was by himself ... I uhh kind of popped up in their backyard and she immediately liked me" vendetta replied with honesty and love in her words , I could hear her emotions. Both of us walked slowly through pentagram city and I noticed a lot of sinners started to hide as they saw us coming .

"So tell me , you wanted a deal with me as far as I heard ?"vendetta slowly said with a questioning tone in her voice. "Well yes,.. but I don't want any regular deal.." I replied.
"So what were you thinking about ? I'm doubting that I'd be anything special to an overlord like you ?" Vendetta asked me ." You're wrong , I think you and I could work together very well .. just like you and Rosie " I smiled back at vendetta. There it was that familiar feeling I had back with Sam in my living days...

A sigh was heard "so what is it you want ?" Vendetta asked . "I want to work together with you ,. You will protect my souls and I will protect yours in return plus we would have sanctuary with each other in needy times .. as both of us are very powerful we would have more then over half of pentagram city as our own district .."I said giving her an idea of what I had in mind.

"So just a service for service deal?" She asked as if she was confused .

"Yes and you and I will know everything about each other of course ! No secrets " I said my smile increasing .. if she'd agree on this I would get to know all and everything about her ,.. making sure that curiosity would finally disappear .

I noticed we walked all the way up to cannibal town at this point .
I saw the gear turning in her head about this deal.
She was definitely thinking it through , I scanned her over and noticed she was wearing a ring ?
Was she married ? Hmm that's something I definitely need to know about .. just as the fact that no one except Rosie and her spawn know where she hides .. why would a powerful overlord as her hide away like that ?

Suddenly a loud cry was heard and a little cannibal girl was running over to us "a-auntie V.., " the little girl was crying as she grabbed vendetta on her dress and pulled it .. the kids lip was burst and a black eye was noticeable.
