Chapter 34

Sam's(vendetta's) pov:

The morning came , I slowly opened my eyes as the events of the previous day came flooding back . My body tensed up for a second but then I felt a familiar warmth around my waist , it was alastors arm that was draped over me .
I slowly turned around to face him , his eyes still closed "are you still sleeping or are you faking it?" I softly whispered . Usually he would smirk if he was faking it but he kept still, his breathing slow and regular . I shuffled slowly closer to him beneath the sheets and eyed him over once more , I remember he felt familiar when i first saw him ,.. I looked a bit closer and noticed he indeed still had features of when he was alive ,.. yet he also gained features from a deer .
I wonder what else had changed ?

I slowly laid my head on his chest and took a deep breath ,. I slowly closed my eyes a second.
A low chuckle escaped Al's mouth "my love ,.. what a lovely way to wake up " he spoke .

I opened my eyes and looked up to him "'t been a while hmm?" I chuckled out . "Definitely my love, now *sigh* I think we need to talk about what we'll do " Alastor said .
"You mean you'd like to stay here yet you have to help Charlie out " I rolled my eyes before patting him on the chest . He sighed once more "yes" a stern looking Alastor said , he quickly changed in mood . "Don't be so sour, I won't run you know and I care about Charlie too "I said to him .
He simply nodded ,.. "I know dear, but I'd like to spend the time we lost " he said .

Suddenly we both hear yelling outside "Al?! AUNT V?!"

Al and I looked at each other raising an eyebrow .
Al got up from the bed and walked to the window , he noticed Charlie standing outside the dome "she knows where you live yet you didn't want to bring me here ? "He chuckle looking at me over his shoulder . "Al , come on ... let's go down stairs and let the poor girl in ...she must be worried " I replied . Both of us got downstairs quickly and I slowly walked outside to pick up Charlie from the edge of the dome .
"Morning Charlie,.. what's wrong ?" I asked her before opening up the dome ... she looked like she didn't sleep last night and hastily moved inside the dome ... "Alastor didn't come home from your meeting and .. and .. and ..." Charlie didn't even finish her sentence as she paced panicked around me ..

"Charlie ..." I softly said ... she kept rambling "Charlie " I said once more ... she didn't hear it "CHARLIE !" I yelled grabbing her to face me .
"Aunt V... why are you so calm ? He.. I can't find him and I need him in the hotel..."Charlie spoke softly. His static filled voice came through as Alastor slowly made his way from the house towards us "Oh dear Charlie ,. Don't worry your silly head about me .. your aunt .. has taken care of me very well " Alastor chipped in.
Charlie's mouth fell open and her eyes went big "wait .. did.. did you stay here ?" She asked Alastor in confusion , looking back and forth between me and Alastor .

Both Al and I looked at each other before I sighed "should we tell her Al ?" I asked him .
"My love ,. It might be better to .. "Alastor replied .
"Did you just say my love? To aunt V?" Charlie asked Alastor even more confused than before .

"Al would you mind making tea for the two of us , I'll uh talk Charlie through as much as needed " I said . He nodded and went back to the house .

"Charlie ,.. remember when i once told you I had a fiancé in life ? " I asked her . She nodded "yeah I do .. you said he was the best husband you could ask for .. sweet and caring " Charlie replied .
"Yes but I also told you he had done something that no good person would do ,.. so he would probably walk around in hell if he wasn't exterminated yet .." I spoke to her ... once more Charlie nodded .. she opened her mouth but closed it again .. "I was searching for him but could never find him ,.. mostly because he had changed yet still has some features from when he was alive ... well to cut it short .. Alastor is my fiancé "

Charlie stopped walking as we almost reached the front door , she blinked a few times before walking in and sitting down at the kitchen table , Al sat down a cup of tea in front of Charlie and my cup he handed over to me .

He himself took a sip of coffee , as he swallowed it down "so.. what do you think about .. you know .. your aunt being my fiancé ?" Alastor slowly asked looking at Charlie . "WHATTHEFUCK HOW CAN SHE BE ENGAGED TO YOU DID YOU EVER TOLD HER WHAT YOUVE DONE " Charlie yelled mostly out in confusion as she simply didn't understood that her auntie who in her eyes was the sweetest woman in hell be engaged to the infamous murderous radio demon .

I looked at Al ... his antlers growing slightly at the sudden outburst of Charlie ,.. I grabbed Al's arm . "Al it's okay ,.. she needs some time for this .. it's a lot to understand " I gave him a reassuring squeeze before I let go .

"Listen Charlie , I've grown up with Al .. I've known him for many many years ..and yes I know about the people he murdered in our lifetime .. hells I had found out myself as I noticed his pattern.. yet I still love him .. he never laid a finger on me .. he only cared about my well being and was absolutely the most loving man in my life .. and the father of my son .. I know he did a lot of shit in hell as well when I wasn't here yet but ... I'd never leave him .. whatever he does " I replied softly , slowly brushing my hand through her hair . Charlie looked up at me "you truly love him ? " she asked me.. which I replied to "even when he died ... even when I died and was in hell.. I never bedded another man ... he... he's the only one for me Charlie "

I looked over at Al after I finished that sentence "never ?" He asked with a giddy smirk on his face .
"Never Al" I replied giving him the soft teenage lover smile that I always gave him in life .

We both heard a sigh as both of us looked back at Charlie "alright ,.: I uhh need some time to process this all ... but uhhmm I hope you're still able to help at he hotel Alastor ... and auntie I hope nothing changes anything between us ?"

Alastor wanted to say something and I could tell from his face it was going to be stupid so I interrupted him before he even could bring out a word "Al will still help you out at the hotel whenever you need him and this will never change anything between us .. I'll always be your auntie and you're still always welcome here " I hugged Charlie and looked at Alastor who's ears where now pinned backwards at the fact I told Charlie he'd still help .
Alastor mumbled something and then spoke up "I'll be railing your aunt though "

"Too much information !" Charlie yelled as she stepped away and moved to the front door
I rolled my eyes at Al , "what it's true " he shrugged his shoulders with that dirty smile on his face . I'd never seen Charlie sprint out of the house that quick ..

"That was mean Al ,.. you're ruining that poor kids mind ... " I playfully slapped his arm .
He gave me a quick kiss before pulling me back into him "well , you said I'd still help her so I needed to get some extra time with you before I'll be returning there .. apparently she had a meeting with heaven or something .. also why don't you join me when I go back to the hotel for a few days?" He said .

"Sounds delightful " I replied
