 Christina's POV

I looked at myself in the mirror to check my outfit.

It had been several days since Bria came to have dinner with us. And since that day, she had been trying endlessly and every way to try and make me, for a lack of a better word, like her again.

Swiping off invisible dirt on my white v-neck shirt, I grabbed my black leather bracelet and circled it round my wrist.

If i'll be honest, i don't think i ever stopped liking Bria. Even with all the things that had happened in my "dating" life, I've long learned that the heart will choose on its own. You can do whatever you want to deny it but it will always be there. Its a losing battle believe me.

I picked my white Swatch watch and placed it around my other wrist without any difficulty even if i wasn't looking.

Of course this doesn't mean that i already mysteriously forgot everything. I'm not like that but I'm not also that kind of person that makes you pay for hurting me like in those cheesy drama series my mom and Lauren watches.

I just want to see her prove something to me. Its as simple as that. I'm not talking about making myself feel I'm important but more of... I just want her to prove to me that she takes responsibility for everything she does. Not just to me but for everyone around her. If what she said to me before was real, then she has a lot of catching up to do in correcting her mistakes.

Lastly, i opened a small chest box on my dresser. Inside it was my necklace that was given to me by my friends. Its identical to my mother's that's why i always keep it safe in the box. But now, beside it was the Zelda badge given by Bria.

I smiled as i took the badge out and punched it on my shirt, on my left chest.

It looked so cool. SO. COOL. Did I already say cool?

I kept on smiling as i leaned on the dresser to look at it closer.

Why do i seem so happy about it, you ask?Well, its obvious its not made of gold or bronze or any of the fancy things like that. But i'm not a fancy girl. What made me happy when Bria gave me this wasn't the fact that she gave me a gift.

It was because she cared enough to actually listen to me at that time we were walking.

Because she cared enough to see how much i love it.

She cared enough to think about me and not about what girls want in general.

The thought of that makes my heart beat just a little bit faster.

Just then, my phone in my pocket vibrated. On my screen flashed the picture of me and Bria during the dinner a few days ago which i made my wallpaper.

I couldn't help it, my hand moved on itself.

Below the screen was the notification that i got a text from Bria.

For the past days, we've exchanged numbers and messaged each other frequently. Not always cute and cliche things...but more of random ones which I find much more interesting.

"There's a roach in my room and i swear it looked at me just when i was about to smash it with a slipper." I read the text and laughed out loud. Yes. Interesting indeed.

"Don't kill Sebastian!" I replied, laughing more at myself.

"Christina! Breakfast!" I heard my mom shout from downstairs.I was about to make a mad dash to my door since i was dead hungry but i thought of something else.

'I guess it wouldn't hurt.' I thought as I carefully removed the cloth covering my keyboard.

"Hey, Lucas." I greeted softly."I'm going to play you again this morning. Hope you don't mind." I smiled, imagining the keyboard smiling to me as well.
