Christina’s POV
A few days after i got hospitalized, i’m back to work on a sunny Saturday morning. Everyone refused to let me work until i got a minimum of 48 hours sleep. They all worry too much honestly.
I’m perfectly fine right now.
I dried the last wet bits of my hair and went to my closet to pick out my usual “uniform”.
What? A green shirt, black semi-skinny jeans and sneakers is a uniform okay?
I decided to just let my hair down today and wore my Zelda snap-back. I grabbed my usual backpack, slid my eyeglasses on and looked at myself at the mirror to check if i have everything on. Sometimes i forget my other sock.
I smiled at myself, not noticing i’ve been in front of the mirror for 10 min already. It was like my body suddenly didn’t know what to do but just stand here in front of my reflection.
I stared as the smile on my face slowly became a smile of pity.
I don’t know how long ago it was that i came to a conclusion of forgetting everything that just happened.
Forget Bria.
It was always like this anyway. Forgetting is the easiest way to just go on with life. I’ve been through this before. Just don’t think of it, don’t speak of it to anyone and it’ll be fine.
It was only two days worth of memories.
‘Two days of memories you will never get back.’
I thought as my gaze flickered to the left of my reflection and noticed a small shine. I looked behind me and saw the cloth covering my keyboard was moved a bit showing a few keys that reflected the sunlight from the opened window.
I slowly walked to it and held the side of the cloth to cover it up properly but instead, i found myself moving the cloth to the opposite side revealing more of the instrument.

Nobody’s POV
“Good morning, Grimmies!” A chirpy brunette walked greeted as she walked in the door of the Grimmie household.
“Oh hello dearie! It’s been a while.” Tina Grimmie replied as she offered a plate of pancakes to their guest.
“Thanks Mrs. G. I just came by to see how Christina is doing since i didn’t get to visit her at the hospital.” Lauren smiled as she sat on one of the chairs at the table.
“She’s doing fine, Lauren. Call her down after you eat though cause she’s going back to work and she might run late.” Christina’s mom asked, looking at the wall clock.
“I will.” The perky girl said as she sliced a piece of her pancakes.
As silence occupied the house, the distant sound of a piano was suddenly heard followed by a soft voice that the four other people in the house knew so well.
“If you ever leave me baby…”
“Is that…” Bud Grimmie, who was reading a newspaper at the dining table said, surprised as he looked up towards the stairs.
“Leave some morphine at my door…”
“Its been a while.” His wife said as she leaned at the counter and closed her eyes, concentrating on the voice that she loved so much.
