CHRISTINA’S POV
I woke up the most amazing feeling ever. I felt so light i feel like i could fly. I sat up immediately and opened my window to let the morning air and sunlight in my room. I stretched my arms as high as i could and smiled.
I could still remember everything that happened yesterday.
The thing at the parking lot, the peck, the date, the walk home...and then the kiss.
I closed my eyes as i ran a finger on my lip. I remembered the way Bria’s lips moved with mine. Her lips were so soft...like ridiculously soft. The way she held me was as if it would be the last time she’d see me...trying to convey everything in one kiss.
I couldn’t help but think of the way that i kissed her too. It actually surprised me. I would usually return a kiss like that with a simple peck...what i did last night was so different. I am so different when i’m around her.
"We’ve only known each other for 2 days...and she already managed to turn my world upside down...is this what they call soul mates?" I whispered to myself as i opened my eyes.
I’m not really one to believe those kinds of things but with what i’m feeling now, i can’t help but do.
"I don’t think i’ve been this happy in the morning before." I thought and chuckled.
I hummed a tune while getting ready. It was the last day of the blinds today and for some reason which i know, i’m going to be at the top of my game today.
I walked down the stairs and jumped the remaining ones when i was near the end. I entered the kitchen and greeted my family.
"Good morning, family!" I said a little too loudly and went to kiss my parents. I was going to kiss my brother’s cheek too but he held a hand up and reminded me of our ’hugs only’ rule.
I went to sit on a chair with a bounce on my every step. I filled my bowl with cereal while humming a song.
"You’re disgustingly cheery today." I heard my brother speak.
"Yeah you’re not normally like this in the morning." My father added.
I looked at them and saw them looking weirdly at me.
"What? I can’t be happy in the morning?" I laughed and continued eating my cereal.
"Its just that normally you’d crawl into the kitchen and grunt like a zombie or something like in one of those video games you and your brother used to play." My mom chimed in as she placed a plate of bacon at the middle of the table.
Almost instantly, me and my brother made a move for the plate, grabbing as much bacon as we can. I got more. Yesss!
"Well then today, i’m human." I playfully stuck my tongue out and chomped through my mountain of bacon.
If you’re wondering why i’m at my parents’ place, its cause its closer to the studio than my condo. Like i can just walk there. Its a little far sure but i enjoy the walk. Also i miss sleeping in my Zelda filled room. I’m just going to stay here till my work in the voice ends though.
I made my way to the studio and left my things at my locker. The whole walk to here i was humming and skipping. I just couldn’t help it!
I was about to enter the equipment room but when i opened the door, Adam and the other coaches plus Eric and Nick were blocking the way. They were all smirking at me. It was weird. So weird.
They all moved towards me so i walked backwards back to the dressing room.
"Umm...May i help you people?" I asked nervously and tugged the sleeves of my white hoodie. A nervous habit.
