BRIA’S POV

I sat up the next morning feeling extremely tired. I haven’t gotten any sleep at all. My mind kept on replaying what happened between me and Christina.

I ran a hand through my hair.

"If i didn’t kiss her none of this would happen!"

I laid back down and stared at the ceiling.

"But if i didn’t then i would’ve regretted it more.....but it was way too soon!"

I grunted and rolled to my side. I put a hand over my where my heart was.

"My chest felt like it was going to burst when i looked at her...my heart was beating so fast...i wonder if she felt the same too..."

I slowly touched my lips. I could still feel the tingles from the kiss. I closed my eyes, remembering every detail of it.

"Her lips were so soft...i tasted the sweet chocolate from the cake i gave her but there was a different taste there too..."

I slowly opened my eyes and saw myself from the mirror across the room. I realized then that i was blushing. I immediately pulled myself from the bed and walked to the mirror.

"No one ever made me feel like that from just a simple one second kiss..." i thought.

I looked at myself and smiled.

"You can’t let this girl go, Bria Kelly. Let her go and you’ll probably end up as a grumpy old lady living with mean cats." I laughed and started to get ready with a goal in my mind.

CHRISTINA’S POV

"What’s the matter, Christina?" I heard Adam say.

"Nothing. Why?" I asked.

"Well for starters, you’re putting the mic a little bit too far from my mouth don’t you think?" He raised his eyebrows and smirked.

I look at what i was doing and instead of clipping the mic at his collar, i was clipping it at the middle part of his shirt...like smack dab in the middle.

We were back stage preparing for the next set of auditions. I was in charge of the mics of the coaches and was currently putting one on Adam.

 Apparently, my mind was elsewhere.

"Yeah, Sis. What’s wrong? Because a while ago you placed my mic inside my shirt pocket. Just shoved it in there." Blake spoke from behind us.

"You kinda clipped mine on my furry hat." Usher got in the conversation and leaned one of the dressers.

"Mine is still currently on the the back of my dress." Shakira got in as well and was trying to look at the mic clipped behind her.

I blushed hard and proceeded to fix Adam’s and Shakira’s.

"I am SO sorry guys. I’m just...a little preoccupied that’s all." I bowed my head and sat on one of the stools at the dresser. I don’t know why but i was comfortable enough to call them what i would usually call my friends.

"It’s fine. But now you’re required to tell us what’s wrong since you got four strikes." Usher smirked and leaned closer to me.

"Yeah come on we still have a few minutes left. Confrontation would be a good way to spend it." Adam chimed in.

"Come on. Out with it." Blake got a chair and sat directly in front of me with Shakira beside her.

My heart started to pound so fast. I looked at all of them and tensed. Four of the most admired people in the music industry are infront of me spending their precious time just to ask me what was wrong.
