Bria's POV

"Christina wai-!"

There she goes...again.

I slowed my steps and came to a halt at the hallway. Since this morning, Christina had been deliberately avoiding me at all cost. And no its not just my imagination. I mean who would go to the bathroom three times in one minute and would excuse herself the moment i stepped on the same room?

I just don't get it.

Why would she avoid me?

Christina's POV

I slowly peered from the door of the janitor's closet and scanned the either sides of the hallway.

I sighed.

I didn't want to this. I didn't want to keep on hiding from her.

Bria had been nothing but nice and sweet after my 'performance' last night. I could tell that she wanted to talk to me. Itching to hear all about me knowing how to sing but she simply kept quiet and held my hand while she walked me home after the party.

She knows i'm afraid.

The way she held my hand and the way it tightened every time i sighed just tells me she wants to give me strength...that she is always there whenever i need her.

And how did i repay that? Yes exactly. By avoiding her the next day.

But you can't blame me!

I have no idea what to say to her! I don't even know how to react!

I can't just go and tell her 'hey so apparently i can sing but cause of some dumb thing that happened before now i'm too scared to do it so yes that makes your crush a huge loser but who cares right? Now pretend you never saw or heard anything'.

But then again...i trust Bria.

She's the sole reason why i'm slowly playing the piano again. Why i'm slowly opening my mouth again for something other than talking. Why i'm finally feeling alive after all these years.

If anything she deserved to know what made me stop in the first place.

She will never hurt me like all those people did before. I know that. She had been extremely clear that she wants nothing more than to make me happy.

But something is stopping me and i don't know what is.

I miss her.

I want to run to her and get her famous Kelly hugs but all i can do is play hide and seek.

I stared absentmindedly in front of me as i walked slowly to the staff room to ask Nick what else could be done. Until...

"CHRISTINA!"

"AAH!"

Adam popped out of nowhere and shouted directly at my right ear causing me to jump to the left and hit an empty trash can, toppling it over loudly.

"What the- Adam!!" I looked at him menacingly as he helped me up. Thank the heavens the trash can was empty or else i would have been in dire need of a shower.

"Ooohhhh sorry about that. Just wanted to say hi." He smiled creepily.

"Rude." I glared and dusted myself again and proceeded to pass by Adam but halted immediately when he blocked my way again.

I raised my eyebrow and looked at him questioningly.

Something is wrong here.

"Is there ...anything you need?" I asked unsure if offering is the right idea.
