Robin's POV:
Nancy and I decided to take a little walk in the woods, and that's when we happen upon Skull Rock, a popular make-out point which was actually made popular by Steve Harrington. We decided to stop in front of it to take a break.
Me: "So Steve Harrington actually made this spot popular?"
Nancy: "Yeah, and he always brags to everyone about it."
Me: "It makes sense. I mean, that guy can seemingly turn anything popular."
Nancy: *chuckles* "Yeah, he could probably even make his own hair-care product and turn it popular within a day."
Me: "That's so Steve Harrington."
Nancy: "He used to take me here, back when him and I were still a thing."
Me: "Lot of memories, huh?"
Nancy: "Yeah, but it's kind of hard to get over how he found out he was actually gay."
Me: "I never would've suspected that of him."
Nancy: "Crazy, I know, and apparently, that one douche bag, Tommy, actually had a crush on him."
Me: "That would explain why Tommy was always so mean to you."
Nancy: "Yeah, and he even pretended to be in love with Carol to hide his true feelings, but I'm glad they were finally revealed. I've always hated Tommy and Carol."
Me: "I'm pretty sure everyone does or at least should."
Nancy: "Yeah, that's true."
Nancy looks up at Skull Rock again, and seemingly sighs a bit sadly.
Me: "Didn't you and Jonathan come here, too?"
Nancy: "Yeah...but that was way before he... you know."
I see Nancy looking a little teary-eyed when she said that, so I got closer to her and put my hand on her shoulder.
Me: "I'm sorry... for bringing him up."
Nancy gently puts her hand on top of my hand.
Nancy: "It's okay, Robin, you didn't mean it."
I lean in and give Nancy a soft kiss on her lips. She kisses me back at the immediate contact. When we pulled away, we smiled at each other.
Me: "Let's go sit down."
Nancy nods as she and I find a big rock to sit on. She leans her head on my shoulder as I wrap my arm around her, and we both try to enjoy as much of our time as possible.
