A/N: modified from another book.

Nancy's POV:

I was on my way to Lovers' Lake, I had my half of the picnic supplies with me, and Robin was bringing the other half. Before long, I was near the picnic sight, and I saw Robin coming from the opposite side with her half. We met in the middle right by the lake.

Me: "Hey there."

Robin: "Hi, Nance."

The both of us shared a greeting kiss before setting up all our picnic stuff. We had a huge blanket to sit down on, and we laid out all of our picnic supplies. We had some really amazing food, mainly sandwich products, a variety of chips, lemonade, and some ice cream that Robin kept in a cooler that she also brought.

Before long, everything was completely set up exactly how I pictured it. Before we sat down, I took my shoes off to make myself a little more comfortable. When we sat down, we got out some stuff from the picnic basket. We started up a conversation about whatever as all this was happening.

Okay, I'll admit: our "sandwich products" were really just sub sandwiches from a place. But hey, it's just as good. Plus, they're our favorite sub sandwiches. Once we unwrapped both of them, we started digging in.

It wasn't long before our subs were finished. We took out two cups and filled them with some lemonade, which was in a little pitcher that Robin brought with her. Of course, she kept a lid on it. The lemonade tastes so amazing that I almost took all of it. But I made sure to take it easy.

Sometime later, Robin took out the ice cream that was in the cooler, and it was my favorite flavor: mint chocolate chip.

Me: "Awww, you remembered."

Robin: "Sure did, it is a good flavor."

Me: "You like it, too??"

Robin: "Heck, yeah."

Robin took out two bowls and scooped out a decent amount of ice cream for each of us. For our first bite, we intertwined our arms like what other couples usually do when they eat, and we took that first bite. We shared another brief kiss before un-intertwining our arms.

Once we finished our ice cream, we gathered up our trash and threw it away in a nearby trashcan. When we got back to our picnic site, we lied down next to each other on the picnic blanket. We held each other's hand and looked at each other.

Me: "I'm glad we got to do this."

Robin: "Me, too. I really love being with you."

Me: "Aww, I love being with you, too."

I felt a piece of my hair fall in front of my face. I was about to move it, but Robin gently brushed it out of my face for me. This made me blush a little.

Me: "Aww, thank you."

Robin: "My pleasure."

Robin and I kiss again. When we pull away, Robin gets an idea.

Robin: "How about we go for a swim in the lake?"

Me: "Sure, I'm up for that."

At that point, I didn't care that we didn't have any swim gear with us. I was up for anything with Robin. When we took our clothes off, we ran towards the lake, and we dove in at the same time. We resurfaced at the same time, too.

Me: "I'm glad no one else is around to ruin this moment."

Robin: "Same, this moment is perfect."

Me: "You'll never believe this, but I actually had a dream that went exactly like this."

Robin: "Really? Me, too."

Me: "Wow, that is insane. It's like we were meant for each other."

Robin: *giggles* "We definitely are."

Robin and I kiss yet again. I really love when we kiss each other. Suddenly, I felt the bottom. It was soft and muddy.
I started playing around in it a little bit, sinking in a tiny bit everytime my feet touched the bottom. Call me weird, but I love the feeling of playing in the mud. I've loved it ever since I was younger. Robin was a little confused by what I was doing right now, so I told her to feel the bottom.

When she did, she immediately understood why I was just randomly jumping a little bit. She joined me in what I was doing, and at that moment, we were both just revisiting the feeling of being a kid again. We stopped for a moment when our legs got tired.

When we did, our gazes met, and this time, we leaned in for a long kiss. We didn't care about what was around us, all we could focus on was the feeling of our lips interacting. When we eventually pulled away, we smiled at each other.

Robin: "I love you, my beautiful Nancy."

Me: "I love you, too, my handsome Robin."
