I was shook awake brutally: By a curly haired girl, with a pair of piercing blue eyes—Also known as My new roommate. And the girl I spent three hours talking to last night.
I don't think I've ever talked so much in my entire life. She told me about herself, and I told her about myself. Her explanation went longer than mine did, mainly for the fact her life was way more interesting then mine.
And less traumatic I guess.
Her favorite color is green, due to her favorite Disney princess having her signature color be green, and happen to be named the same as her. Tiana. And then I was confused about what the hell disney was, so she went into a conversation explaining that to me afterward.
She was eighteen turning nineteen in six months, She wants a pet bunny, and a pink wedding. Once we started talking, we literally couldn't stop—Literally.
We were up till three in the morning, And I have to admit how amazing it is to finally talk to someone who doesn't want to bite my neck off half the time; Hypothetically of course.
I huffed, as I attempted to whack her hands away, and dig my face deeper into the flimsy pillow.
"Isadora Flores." The use of my full name makes my head jump up, to look at her."What?" I breathe out, sitting up and flipping my long brown hair out of my face.
"Kimberly just called a meeting for everybody to meet at the training arena," She yawns stretching her arms out before continuing. "Now."
I can't help but huff, and rub my eyes that struggle to stay even halfway open, and sting with exhaustion. "Why?" I ask, slightly irritated.
I immediately feel guilty for my tone, and muffle a quiet apology, Making her laugh as she hauls me off the bed one handed. "Don't apologize for stupid shit." I ignore her and throw my arms in the air, stretching my sore back.
"Anyways.. Why does she want to see everyone?" I start the making of my bed, Covering the off white sheets with the pearly white comforter, before arranging my pillows into a pattern I like.
My mind doesn't hesitate to fill itself with obsessive overthinking.
"Do you think something is wrong?"She shakes her head immediately.
"No, I think if something was wrong, my mother and brother would be at our doorstep by now." Her response calms my nerves almost immediately, but not completely.I forgot to mention she has a twin brother, Named Ricky. And I have yet to see him yet.
I make my way to the bathroom. The same dark wood covers the walls. There was two sinks, connected by the large black stone countertop, with a large mirror in front. There was one toilet, and a simple small shower.
We shared half of the bathroom countertop, her half of the countertop was filled with things I've almost never seen. And mine had a simple cup with a pink toothbrush and blue toothpaste. She told me she would explain all of the things she had some other day.
