"So."

"So?"

"How ya been?"

The mischief in his tone moves my focus away from the sketchbook in my lap, switching it onto him; He's laying on my bed on his stomach, face in his hands, with a smirk lingering on his lips.

"Can you stop kicking your feet like a girl."

"Nope." He grins.

I sigh, "Why are you kicking your feet like a girl, then?"
He simply shrugs. "Oh, I don't know.." He smiles, rolling his eyes sassily; A look of concern morphing my face.

"Uhm."

He ignores my disgusted expression. "Maybe it's because my best-friend has finally moved the fuck on, and kissed a girl—"

I throw the first thing my hand can grasp; A pillow. "Shut up!"

He dodges, resulting in another pillow being thrown, And when he dodges again my frustration only heightens; I consider grabbing a more lethal weapon. I could light him on fire—maybe not. Maybe the next pillow on fire.

He barks out a laugh. "It's none of your business, so fuck off—" Before another word could leave my mouth, the door slams open; Gathering both my attention and Kai's, Except he yelps and springs off the bed in fear with a loud thump.

Before I can properly register and react to Kai falling off the bed; Joey stomps through the door, Bright blonde hair and scary blue eyes that stare into your soul every time you make eye-contact with them.

With narrowed blue eyes, arms crossed against his chest, He spits out.
"I hate you, Rowan."

Surprised but also not surprised by his sudden hatred towards me, My Eyes finally intake his appearance, scoping down his body. Ugly laughter leaps through my throat. His hair was tied into two very small pigtails atop his head. He had bright pink lipstick smeared across his lips—a little on his cheeks too.

He also had black, what I'm guessing to be Makeup smeared below his eyes, some on his clumpy eyelashes—And in between both brows, giving him a unibrow that doesn't come close to matching his natural eyebrow color.

Kai's laughter joins me, no sooner than a second later. "Man, What happened to you?" He chokes out between laughs. Joey makes his way towards us, a grimacing look on his face. "Isadora Flores, and Tiana happened." He grits out, glaring at me immediately.

I can't help the way my heart leaps in my chest at just the mention of her name. I can still feel her lips against mine, her hands tracing the outlines of my skin, can still smell the scent of chocolate and coconut radiating off of her. And then the way she looked at me after I pulled away.

My laughter Immediately stops. "What do you mean?" Kai beats me to the question, climbing back onto the bed. Joey plants himself on the edge of the bed that's most definitely too small for all three of us;
