The group consisting of Maggie, Steve, Nat, Rhodey, Thor, Carol, Nebula and Rocket were all now sat in the spaceship that Tony had arrived in, it turning out to have been Rockets ship.
"Okay", Rocket spoke as he started up the ship, turning to look at the group who all sat behind him. "Who here hasn't been to space?"
Hesitantly Nat, Steve, Rhodey and Maggie raised their hands up, looking around the ship to see they were the only four.
"You better not throw up on my ship", Rocket shot at them, directing the ship to fly higher as they flew further and further from Earth.
"Approaching jump in three...two...one", Nebula spoke, the ship then changing its boosters so that they'd work in space.
The ship picking up speed as everyone got flung back from the fast motion into their seats, the ones who hadn't been to space before gripping the edges of their seats.
Stopping before a planet, it had a blue ring spinning around it, Carol getting out of the ship, floating as she glowed like a star.
"I'll head down for recon", She said to them, then flying forward towards the planet to do a quick lap around, everyone unbuckling from theirs seats as they stretched and prepared themselves.
"This is gonna work Steve, Mags", Natasha spoke up as she approached where Maggie was staring out the window of the ship, Steve glancing down at the photo of Peggy that he kept in his pocket clock.
"I know it will", Steve nodded, shutting his watch closed as he also looked out the window before turning to Nat. "Cause I don't know what i'm gonna do if it doesn't."
"It's gonna work", Maggie cut in, giving the two a small yet nervous and shaky smile. "It has to", she then said in a whisper.
Flying back over she spoke once more to them through comms. "No satellites. No ships. No armies. No ground defences of any kind. It's just him!"
"And that's enough!", Nebula replied, staring out at the planet, analyzing the place Thanos had retired to.
All of them preparing themselves for another fight of their lives, for everyone's lives.

The group all crept around the cabin Thanos inhabited, making sure all exits were blocked by one of them as they readied to attack
Thanos was stirring a pot of brew that he'd made when he got hit back by a powerful beam from Carol as she flown in and threw herself atop his broad shoulders.
Chocking him out as she attempted to use her foot to push the gauntlet from his arm, the ground next to them ripping and bursting open as Bruce in the Hulk Buster emerged from underground grabbing his left arm as Rhodey dropped in through the roof and grabbed his right.
