Mori sat in his armchair with a glass of red semi-sweet expensive wine in his hand. He takes a sip and looks at you.
"Why did you bring me here, boss?"
Mori finished drinking, then wiped his mouth with a white handkerchief and set the glass down on the table. He folded his hands under his chin and looked at you
"Please, have a seat," Mori spoke with a welcoming gesture. You graciously accepted his invitation and settled into the plush armchair across from him. The rich aroma of the wine permeates the air, lending an air of sophistication to the scene. Everything about the moment feels refined yet intimate. Mori regards you warmly. "I'm so pleased you could join me this evening. There's something I've been meaning to discuss with you." His voice was smooth and mellifluous. You couldn't help but feel intrigued about what he wished to share in these elegant surroundings.
"You're a young woman with great potential, Y/N. I'm considering giving you a grand mission. This could be your best chance to-..."
"To what, sir?" You questioned politely. Mori stared at you with a mysterious gaze. The corners of his mouth curled up slightly. He paused for a few moments, contemplating his response. Finally, he answered simply,
"To do whatever you dream of."
"Whatever I dream of?" You mutter. Mori laughed softly. He nods his head and continues, "Yes, whatever you dream of. Imagine the most desirable possibilities in your life. Now, if I told you that I could make them real, what would you choose?"
"I... don't know, sir."
With a smile playing upon his lips, Mori appeared both taken aback and entertained by your response. "Truly? You are uncertain of the path you would take? No matter, there will be ample time during your assignment to contemplate such things. For I have tasked you with walking the same road as Chuuya - to stand alongside him and vanquish our rival clan. Together, the two of you shall surely prevail."
The news of your new assignment filled you with eager anticipation. Without hesitation, you accepted the challenge and rose to your feet, resolved to prove your mettle despite your lack of any special powers. This was your time to shine. As you turned to exit, intent on embarking upon your mission, Mori's firm grasp pulled you back from the threshold.
Mori's grip was firm, yet gentle as he pulled you back. You noticed his eyes had an almost supernatural glimmer as he looked down at you with an authoritative gaze. You felt his eyes drilling deeper into you as if he could read the smallest detail of your innermost thoughts."I have one last request for you," he said.
"Of course!" You chirp.
Mori smiled warmly. He looked directly into your eyes, his demeanor suddenly shifting to one of tenderness and longing. He reached out and gently caressed your cheek, his thumb gently stroking your soft skin. You could almost feel his touch like a breath of warm air sweeping across your face. Mori drew closer and leaned in close to you, his voice a gentle whisper. "I want you to follow my orders without question and complete your mission to the best of your ability. Agreed?"
"Agreed, boss!" Your voice was full of enthusiasm, his strange behavior toward you not changing a thing.
Mori smiled, seemingly pleased with your response. He continued to caress your cheek gently, letting his fingertips trail down the jawline. His expression softened as he leaned in closer.
"Good girl," he whispered, his voice warm and alluring. His hands started caressing your neck, gently kneading your soft skin. His eyes flickered with a strange, supernatural light. As his touch wanders, his lips inch closer, as if in search of yours...
Your cheeks heated up, and before this strange predicament could further, you gently pushed his hand away. Without another word, you left his office, though you could feel him smirking to himself just behind you.
Mori's voice sounded from behind you as you left the room. "Until next time... don't forget about me" his tone was teasing and flirty, his smile almost mischievous. It was clear that he enjoyed playing these games and was looking forward to the next time you would visit him. He sat back in his chair and took a deep sip of his wine, his eyes drifting off into the distance as he contemplated the events of the evening.
You went in search of Chuuya and found him in a small office at the back of the building, going over his plans for the job. He was focused and determined as he mapped out every detail of the operation. He seemed completely immersed in the task at hand, oblivious to your presence until you spoke up.
"Almost ready to get out of here?" He looked up, startled by your sudden presence.
"Oh, hey Y/N. Yeah just about. How come I have to be paired up with this girl anyway..." He muttered to himself, although not quiet enough, for you could still hear him.
His response caught you off guard, it stung to hear him imply that you were an inconvenience or hindrance to his mission. You felt angry and upset by his words, but you tried to keep your composure. You cleared your throat and replied,
"I'm sure we'll be fine." Chuuya let out a sigh of frustration and rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say."
As you readied yourself to depart, a peculiar urge washed over you - the desire to abandon your duty and return to Mori's side. Though the thought gave you pause, it resonated within you, plucking at heartstrings you scarcely knew existed. For a fleeting moment, the mission seemed to matter little compared to the prospect of seeing Mori again.
