ADA | The Chase

You and the Armed Detective Agency haven't been on entirely good terms since the last incident.

Currently, you've been accused of a serious crime that you didn't do. The Agency is chasing you down the street of Yokohama... how lucky.

Dazai: Y/N~!  Come on~!  

Atsushi: Get back here!

Kunikida: Dazai, take this seriously!

Kenji: Running after you with a kind smile.

Ranpo: Running while drinking soda.

Yosano: My, my, they're fast.

"Go away!" You shout.

They continue running after you as if they haven't heard you. You can't seem to outrun them but you can hide in the alleyway across the street... or you can try fighting them head on...?

Dazai: Don't just stand there, Y/N~!

Atsushi: He sighs heavily in frustration.

Kunikida: Stopping himself mid-chase to take a breath.

Kenji: He continues running at a steady pace.

Ranpo: He continues sipping from his drink.

The sound of their footsteps is nearing... they're slowly getting closer and closer.

Dazai: COME BAAAAAACK!!!

Kenji: He's still running with the same steady smile, not even breaking a sweat... he must have amazing stamina.

Kunikida: He continues to catch his breath.

Ranpo: He's still happily sipping from his drink as he runs... he must not really care about this mission...

You manage to hide in a dark alleyway, the narrow walkway will hopefully throw off the detectives a bit... though you can still hear them approaching. They're very close now and about to turn into the alley.

The sound of their footsteps is now right at the entrance to the alley, with only a few meters separating you and the detectives. You can hear them getting closer... and it sounds like they're about to round the corner.

It's clear you have no choice but to try and scare them away.

"BOOO~~~!"

The detectives all freeze up when they see you, including Dazai who is known to be unfazed by everything. They all seem startled... except for Kunikida who seems very annoyed.

Dazai: !!

Atsushi: ... Huh?

Kunikida: He sighs. It's clear he was hoping for something more intense.

You're wrapped in a white sheet with holes at the eyes like a ghost, waving your arms about.

The detectives are now completely scared when they see you in the white sheet. They're all completely horrified... except for Kunikida who is now rolling his eyes.

Kunikida seems irritated and annoyed, he doesn't seem scared at all.

Atsushi: Ahh!!

Dazai: Aa-ahh!!

Kenji: He seems completely confused.

Ranpo: He looks amused.

The detectives all start laughing, pretending to be spooked by your ghost disguise. Atsushi laughs nervously while Kenji appears genuinely perplexed.Dazai and Ranpo are laughing out loud while Kunikida can't even hide his irritation anymore. He's now openly shaking his head.

Since the detectives are now focusing on laughing at your ghost disguise, this is a perfect opportunity to sneak past them.

You manage to quickly slip past everyone, managing to outrun their attempts to grab you.

You can hear them yelling after you to stop but they don't seem like they'll be able to catch up.

You escaped, but barely, you quickly threw off the gross sheet you had found in the alley and left the ADA behind. But all of a sudden you see Dazai right in front of you waving and smiling like nothing was wrong. Before he lunged at you and handcuffed you to himself.

Dazai: HAH~ Got you~! C'mon~... where did you think you were going~?

He grabbed you and started to walk back to his group. You'd been caught. 

Dazai quickly pulls you back to the rest of the detectives... he seems quite eager to return to the Agency. He's grinning brightly as he walks back towards the group, still with you in tow.

Kunikida, Atsushi, and Kenji seem to be having a conversation... while Ranpo is now sipping from a different drink. They don't seem to notice your return yet.

Dazai: Your disguise was cute, but not practical, huh?

Dazai says this playfully, he seems to enjoy teasing you and making you flustered.

"Come on, you really thought a ghost disguise would get you out of this~?"

Dazai seems to want to get a response out of you now... it appears he's in a teasing mood.

"Look what I found everyone!" Dazai laughed as he walked over to the group and they all cheered, applauding him.

Atsushi, Kunikida, and Kenji all praise him, while Ranpo seems unimpressed.
Before the group starts to celebrate their victory, Dazai speaks up again."Yeah yeah, I know I'm pretty amazing." He says this with an amused expression... it's evident he's very proud of himself.

Kunikida: Let's go, we have some questions for you, Y/N.
