I sat on a rock a little whiles away from the junk yard. I was crying. I have no idea why I got so upset over someone dissing someone else's dad but I did. I could hear them walking over and I brushed away the tears.
"Hey I'm sorry I'm ruining everybody's good time." Teddy sniffles wiping his tears. I don't think they know I'm here. "Maybe it shouldn't be." Gordie spoke up. "What you think we should go back?" Chris yelled. "No its just maybe going to see a dead kids body shouldn't be a party." Gordie explained. "He's makes a good point." I said stepping out of the bushes. They all seemed kind of shocked I was in there.
I trailed behind Vern and Teddy as they danced to the radio laughing at the all the way. "Do you think mighty mouse could beat up super man?" Vern asked. "What are you cracked?" Teddy answered. "Why not? Yesterday I saw him holding five elephants in one hand!" I burst out laughing at this conversation. "Boy you don't know nothing. Mighty mouse is a cartoon. Superman is a real guy. No way a cartoon could beat up a real guy." Teddy explained. "Yeah that's the reason he wouldn't win." I snorted. Teddy and Vern turned to look at me. "What?" I asked. "Did you just snort?" Teddy laughed. "Because the snortings worse then your laughter."
We spun around to yell at Gordie and Chris. "C'mon guys let's get moving!" Vern yelled. "Yeah by the time we get there the kid won't even be dead anymore!" Teddy yelled. "Flawless logic..." I mumbled.
