Biana

Biana had a fun time playing video games with Dex - even though he let her win each one. Biana had tried to look as presentable as possible, after her nightmare, that day at school but Dex could saw past that. Of course he did, he knew her better than she knew herself!

Wait, what? He didn't- Oh wow, he did didn't he? But how could he know Biana better than her best friend? That's because he wasn't her best friend. Dex was-

"Hey, Biana. You ready to go?" Sophie asked Biana. Biana snapped her head up. She'd been silent for the whole walk to school with Sophie. They were now at the gates. "Yeah, yeah. Let's go," Biana mumbled and they went inside. What was she about to say? She wasn't going to say- No, no. She couldn't have... could she?

Biana massaged her temples. This was the second time she'd been in her room late at night, trying to work through her confusing feelings. "Argh! Why do feelings have to be so complicated?" she shouted and fell onto her bed, back-down.

Biana took out her notebook and started sketching. This had always calmed her. Escaping to another world. But not everything lasts forever does it? Biana sighed. She needed to finish her design. She couldn't hold onto it any longer. The longer you have something, the more you obsess over it - although you say it's to perfect it, it's really to judge it because nothing can be perfect. Even though nothing's perfect, making do with what you have can sometimes be enough. "Ok, you got this Biana," Biana whispered to herself.

(I take no credit for this image, I literally just found this on Safari while sleep-deprived - I definitely couldn't make something as beautiful as this so round of applause to person who did

There. That was it. Her final design. It was shiny but not blinding, sculpted but breathable and extravagant but easily faded into the background. It was perfect.

Biana took a deep breath and pressed the send button on her tablet. Despite the panic rising into her throat, Biana thought that she would - for once - have a nightmare-free sleep that night.

Look, I know my chapters are normally 700 words and I apologise for, yet another, short Biana chapter but I keep my promise from last time that it WILL be worth it. And I've just realised... we've hit the 600 mark for views! It seems like I'm getting like at least 100 new views for every part. Could you imagine if we got to 1k? The thought kind of terrifies me... But, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens!

Bye for now ;)
