"I mean, he's cute and all, but like, he's my friend. Nothing more, just a friend." Biana heard a snort from behind her. "That's literally the start of every teen drama I've seen." Biana whipped around. "Fitz? Why were you eavesdropping on me?" She glared at him. Fitz just grinned back. "It wasn't that hard, you're talking to yourself and ranting like a lunatic. So tell me, who's the lucky boy?" Fitz started wiggling his eyebrows. It was at times like these, that Biana thought she was adopted. Biana crossed her arms. "Are you deaf? I literally just said that he's my friend." Fitz started to slink away from her door. "Right, friends." Biana rolled her eyes. "Friendsssss," He whisper shouted as he came back. Biana threw a pillow at his head.

Biana stared at her bed once Fitz had gone away. Sometimes, she didn't even want to sleep. And sometimes, she didn't - anything to avoid the nightmares. So, instead, she stayed awake, perfecting the last parts of her design for the competition. Biana had been perfecting for a while now. Technically, she could turn it in anytime she wants - but Biana wanted to use all of the time she had to work on it, even though everyone one she'd talked to about it had told her it was perfect.

One second, Biana was obsessing about the competition and the next, she found herself falling into a deep sleep. She couldn't help it - exhaustion had taken its toll on her and, before she knew it, the nightmares were back.

"Aah!" Biana woke up in cold sweat, her bedsheets twisted like her mangled body. (I'll admit it, that sounded very gruesome...) This nightmare was different, it was longer. So long. It was a never ending chase.

This is literally the shortest chapter I've ever written but I had to squeeze in this part of the story. TRUST ME ITS WORTH IT.
Also a quick reminder (because I'm feeling wise today) to always cherish your memories of childhood and to not let it slip away 🤗

Bye for now ;)
