Sorry that it took so long. I had one of the most important interviews in my life and studied for it while fighting ADHD paralysis.

On a more positive note: I actually managed to get an appointment for Top-surgery! YAY!
However, it is super expensive so my focus will probably still be on my YT(NerdyNekoma) and the fanfic content on there for a while. Because well that my job and I want to be able to afford the surgery.

On that note, check it out if you like it has early access to all my fanfic in podfic form.

" I heard you wish to leave already?" the doctor asked with a slight hint of scepticism in his voice.

Atsumu nodded. It had been only 10 minutes since Kimura left and reappeared with a doctor in tow this time. After this, he definitely needed to think of a way to show her his gratitude. The 10 minutes had been enough to clear his head further and urgency to return to his mind.

He needed to get home as quickly as possible. He needed to assure himself that his boyfriends were okay. He needed to see it with his own eyes and... he needed to apologize for so so many things, broken promises, and to Samu for Suna's injury.

It got to this because of his own foolishness.

"How are you feeling? And please be honest," the doctor proceeded.

Atsumu sighed; he had to endure enough physical exams as an athlete to know that there was no use in lying and that his best chance to get out of here quickly was honesty.
That was if he didn't want to fight his way out of here against medical advice which would look pretty bad.

"Still a bit dizzy," he started. "Pain 's 'bout a three to four now that the anaesthesia is gone but it's bearable. I don't live alone. I have three partners that will take care of me."

The other nodded and inspected his wounds closely once more. He looked at his eyes while shining a bright light at them.
"Alright, the stitching seems stable. A clear wound dressing has been applied above and secured with medical take. Please make sure not to touch it."
He threw one last inspecting glance at him and concluded with a sigh: "If you feel up to the task and as long as you get adequate rest at home and come in for follow-ups the next day you are free to go for now."

"Thank you!"
Relieved he got up only to waver a bit. He proceeded more steadily as he followed the doctor to get the papers ready, Kimura stayed close behind.

Once they were outside Atsumu immediately tensed. He half expected the tell-tale steps to appear behind him but when they did they weren't Haru's but Kimura's reminding him quietly that he was safe.

"Miya-san?" She asked to get his attention and he faltered.
"Do you have a key to your house with you?"

"Yes, why?"
He wrapped his jacket around himself more tightly as an uncomfortable rainy wind greeted them. It was cold just like before and in the dark that still persisted he could almost feel the cold blade on his back again.

"The officers sent to your home encountered no one there. When we arrived, given what you told me about the previous instances, please wait outside until we check everything," she instructed him and he nodded hesitantly while sitting down in the car.
