Dean's POV
Castiel's lips tasted like warm honey. Dean's hands slid to Castiel's hips, and he held them desperately, as if they were an anchor grounding him to that moment. Castiel's hands slid through the fine hairs at the base of Dean's neck, and Dean smiled into the kiss. But it was loud in Dean's head. A voice - that was not his own - screamed at him to stop, and chaos ensued when he didn't listen. It was like a bomb had gone off and it felt like everything about Dean started to rewrite. Like every bad thing he'd ever done was being erased, by Castiel's lips. Everything moved in slow motion, too, from the moment the tip of Dean's tongue ran across Castiel's lips to the time Cas was pulling away with a small smile.
"I'm sorry." He murmured blushing. Dean smiled at Cas and brushed his thumb over Castiel's cheek
"Don't apologize." Dean said, his hand slipping into Castiel's. "That was great." Castiel blushed even darker and he muttered something that sounded like, 'thanks.' "Cas..." Dean said stopping. Castiel stopped walking, too, and looked at him.
"Yes, Dean?" Castiel asked. His eyes shone with happiness that brightened Dean's smile.
"Can we... can I take you out?" He asked blushing.
"Out? Like... on a date?" Castiel wondered arching an eyebrow. Dean nodded. "Oh, sure. When?" Castiel questioned.
"Um, now." Dean murmured embarrassed. Castiel smiled up at Dean and nodded.

"Risin' up! Straight to the top! Had the guts! Got the glory! Went the distance, now I'm not gonna stop! Just a man and his will to surviiiiiiive!" Dean sang very loudly as he drove with Castiel toward a small diner just outside of town. Cas laughed and listened to Dean's off-key caterwauling. "Your turn, Cas!" Dean exclaimed happily.
"Oh... no." Cas grinned.
"Oh yes! Sing!" Dean happily said.
"It's the eye of the tiger, it's the thrill of the fight! Rising up to the challenge of our rival! And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night! And he's watching us all with the eyyyyeee....!"
"Of the tigerrrrr!!" They finished together laughing.
Dean grinned and Castiel chuckled again pleasantly while he tapped his fingers to the beat. "I'm glad you knew that song." Dean said.
"Who doesn't know that song?"Cas grinned.
"More people than you'd think." Dean said touching Castiel's hand. Cas curled his fingers around Dean's.
"How unAmerican of them." Castiel said clicking his tongue. Dean laughed. "I prefer classic rock, but I usually have to listen to the top 40 countdown with my brother, Gabe, and my sister, Luci."
"Now that is unAmerican." Dean said cringing. Cas nodded. "Wait... Gabe who?"
"Gabriel Novak." Castiel said looking over at Dean curiously.
"Oh my God."
"What?"
"Son of a bitch."
"What? Wait, was it your house he egged?!"
"What? No. He's my brother' best friend." Dean told him.
"Shut up! How did I not put that together when I met Sam?" Castiel exclaimed.
