I read this quote today and as I read it, it was like I was reading my own words.
Because honestly that's how I feel.
That why I have started writing my book, the way I want to write it, because it's my bloody therapy.
By writing and expressing myself through words,
That's where I can get everything out of my mind onto paper. Then I can re read it to check for grammatical errors.
And that's when I actually start looking at it in a different way.
I start editing the story and look at it from a new perspective because I was allowing myself to feel what ever emotion I was feeling and just get it out!
Then when looking back over it, the story changes because I'm not longer in that feeling.
I've done my blaming and done my cursing and hating and expressing my anger and hurt.
So then when I re read I look it from a caring perspective.
And can see why I was writing those things.
Then I can understand and take talk about the situation from an understanding point of view.Because we usually get angry and yell because we don't feel like anyone is listening or because we don't feel like anyone understands us.
That is a hard thing to learn.
So by me writing my posts I'm just learning about myself. So I'm doing my own therapy and research on me.
And if it helps someone else along the way. Super.
But I'm just going to keep doing it because it's helping me!
I can't help anyone else if I don't do the work first.
