The Copeland Clan: Darkness Awaits

Chapter 1: The Mystery

Date: February 12th 2022

It hadn't been long since the war between the pack, the clan, and Nolan. But Nolan was now dead. The Copeland's had settled back into a normal schedule, as did the Davila's.

On this day, Mira, Jessa, Ryder, and Joshua were going on a double date. They were all going out for dinner. It was Mira's idea.

The arrived at the restaurant and got seated upon arrival, "Damn this place is fancy", Jessa said.

"I wanted it to be, I figured it would be a nice treat for us", Mira explained.

Joshua picked up his menu and scanned it over, "It is really expensive, thankfully we don't have flies flying out of our wallets".

"No k-kidding, if you want just a steak without a side it's thirty p-pounds", Ryder said.

Mira put a hand on Ryder's thigh, "Guys don't worry we can afford it, it's gonna be delicious"!

Jessa shrugged, "Alright if you say so".

As they were looking over the menu, Mira noticed a man with fluffy blue hair sitting at the bar alone. His energy felt inhuman to her, she was confused because she had never felt something like this before. And for a moment the man glanced at her with icy blue eyes, but Mira quickly looked away.

"You alright Mira", Ryder asked his girlfriend?

"Yeah I'm fine, don't worry", Mira smiled.

Mira then noticed Jessa and Joshua beginning to stare at the blue haired man as well, "So you feel it too don't you"?

"Yeah...that guy over there why does he feel that way", Joshua asked?

"I don't know, it would be rude to just waltz over and ask him", Mira said.

They all watched as the man paid for his tab and walked out of the restaurant. He didn't bother to look their way as he left.

"Well that was short lived", Jessa said.

"Yeah...let's just forget about it, it was probably nothing", Mira said picking back up her menu.

Meanwhile...

Kaito pulled out a phone from his back pocket and dialed a number, once the line picked up.., "I got a scent from some of them, if I had to guess I'd say they were vampires; the red eyes some of them had gave it away".

"I'm shocked you were able to get close to them at all, but be careful not all vampires are as easy to spy on as those ones", Kailani warned.

"Relax Lani I know what I'm doing, plus it will be your turn soon once I get a vampire to trust me", Kaito smirked.

"How come I got left with the dogs", Kailani complained?

"Because most of that Davila pack are men and the only one who can siren a man is you", Kaito said.

Kailani rolled her eyes, "Yeah yeah whatever, be back to the water by midnight, no need to be out late tonight".

Kaito snorted, "Ok...mom what the fuck".

"Don't you snort at me, just get home soon please", Kailani said with a sigh.

"Fine fine I will", Kaito hung up the phone.

Kaito smirked and thought to himself, "...those ladies at the table looked very pleasing".

He began to walk to another place he could drink until he had to go back to the dock and meet back up with Kailani.
