Chapter 16: The Spring Formal Part 2

Now that everyone was on high alert that Easten was possessed by Nolan, everybody was on edge. Their goal was to get him out before he could inflict any damage on any of them. For the most part everyone just ignored him, but Nolan knew he was being ignored...so he had to change that. Little did he know that his rain this time around would be shorter than the last one.

Nolan stepped onto a table with Easten's body, "Hello vampires, witches and warlocks, and werewolves...I am so pleased to see some familiar faces this fine evening..", as he started to speak almost all the vampires in the room dropped to the ground holding their heads in pain, all of them..accept Audrey and Antony.

"Renee what's wrong", Lycus asked his partner?

Renee tried her best to explain through the pain, "He's...he's giving us head aneurysm's".

"THE HELL, hey stop it", Lycus shouted at Easten's body, "We all know it's you Nolan so why don't you just give it a damn rest"!

Nolan looked at Lycus and put a hand in front of him, slowly but forcefully pulling Lycus forward, "Oh Mr Beta actually has a speaking voice, you hardly spoke when I held you captive".

"Let him-", Conri was cut off as Nolan snapped his fingers and him and every wolf fell to the ground asleep. Everyone one of them accept Lycus.

"Conri, Jenna, guys wake up", Lycus shouted at his friends!

"They won't until I say they can, so hush up", Nolan said smirking through Easten.

"This ends now", Cohen whispered to his sister.

Sage nodded and the two siblings stepped forward, "That will be enough of you, either go willingly or we'll make you leave", Sage said.

Nolan laughed, "And how are the mighty Raynott siblings gonna take me on hmm"?

"Like this", Cohen said as both of the siblings raised their hands in the air and began to chant a spell in unison.

As their spell began to take effect, Easten's body began to have a coughing fit, shortly after he fainted and fell to the ground. The Raynott siblings dusted off their hands and gave each other a high five.

Shortly after the vampires were back to normal and the wolves were all awake, Sage ran over to Isaac, "Are you okay, how's your head"?

Isaac smiled at Sage, "I'm okay Sage, but thanks for worrying about me".

Sage tackled Isaac into a hug, "Of course I'd worry about you, you were getting hurt until we stepped in".

Isaac blushed a bit as he hugged her back, "Well I'm definitely not hurting anymore...".

Eventually Easten came to and woke up in a private room, Antony standing right by the door, "Antony...what happened"?

Antony walked towards Easten, "You were possessed by Audrey's maker, Nolan, thankfully we have some very talented people here with magical talents; who were able to pull you out of it".

Easten's expression turned guilty, "Oh Antony I am so sorry, I can't believe I allowed myself to become that way...please forgive me".

Antony held out a hand, "It was not your fault my friend, come now we have a formal to get back to".

Easten smiled with relief and took Antony's hand. Both of them returning to the party with the others...

The formal continued on as normal, everyone mingled, danced, and ate food from the snack tables. But all fun must come to an end eventually, the formal ended a few hours later.
