Chapter 5: Unwanted Visitor

Date: February 21st 2022

Renee was the first one to wake up. She looked to her side to see Lycus still passed out asleep. She saw her shirt on a desk chair and her shoes underneath it. She carefully got up and put her shirt back on and slid her shoes back on.

Renee looked back at Lycus and smiled. She walked back over and sat in the bed and stroked his hair. She couldn't help but think he look precious as he slept.

A few seconds later Lycus's eyes fluttered open and met Renee's, "Hey...what time is it"?

"It's really early, about 4AM, I gotta get back home before the sun rises", Renee explained.

Lycus shook his head no, "Nope, you're staying right here".

Lycus pulled Renee on top of him. Their lips touched as they began to kiss each other. Renee pulled away with a smile, "I really have to go".

Lycus groaned, "I know, just call me later okay".

"I will", Renee gave him one final kiss on the lips, "I love you sugar".

Lycus smiled, "Love you too".

And just like that Renee was gone. She raced her way back to the Copeland manor before sunrise.

Renee was about to enter her room when he was met with a breathless Zach, "Can I help you"?

"What the hell did you and Lycus do last night", Zach asked?

Renee then remembered Zach and Lycus were blood bound to each other, "Oh...we had lots of fun last night, sorry I forgot to get ya a heads up".

Zach rolled his eyes, "You bit him didn't you"....

Renee stopped in her tracks, "So what if I did"?

"Just be careful for the next couple hours, werewolf blood is hella potent", Zach turned to walk away, "And I know Lycus's blood first hand".

Renee scowled at the eldest born progeny. He got on everyone's nerves including hers. She just went back to her room and shut the door. Renee sat down on her bed with a happy smirk on her face. She fell back onto her bed, her head spinning with delight. She was so happy her and Lycus were finally a thing.

At the Ocean Dock

The sun had come up. The sirens were hiding underneath the dock. The goal of today was for Kailani was to lure in a werewolf. She had recently fed on a human so she could transform into one.

Kailani crawled onto the dock and transformed into her human form, "You stay here Kaito, no need for both of us to be out today".

Kaito huffed, "Mmm you're no fun Lani, but whatever I'll stay here".

"Good, I'll be back later", Kailani said walking away.

Kailani had the aura of almost every single wolf she saw when she went drinking. But she really picked up on Conri's. She followed the aura and it led her to a hidden area in the woods with a bunch of cabins and a fire pit.

Just as Kailani was walking up the property, Conri came out of his cabin. He was adjusting his coat when he looked up and noticed the familiar woman who he now knew was a siren.

Conri quickly got out his phone but was stopped in his tracks, "Please put the phone down~", Kailani said in an enchanting voice.

Conri tried his hardest to resist but his body wasn't agreeing with him, he set his phone on the floor making Kailani smirk.
