A/N before you start reading: I will send away many characters with the next chapter because I cannot simply manage this many. Rick himself botched the job in HOO. I will only stick with characters who play major roles in the story, the ones who have been fully developed, and the ones who can do with a lot of development.

As a result, you will only see the golden trio (because obviously), Percy and Annabeth (they've been fully developed and are integral to the story), Nico, and Jason and Piper(they have so much more potential than they were given).

I am sorry for this; removing the remaining characters will be the best way to guarantee the highest quality of the end product. I regret it as much as you hate it, but it is necessary. All these characters will however have cameos, some bigger than you think.

We'll primarily only have Harry, Jason, and Piper's POV.

Here is a training montage-

Harry looked around the room which was now filled to the brim with old, dusty tomes. Hermione's jaw had dropped, and her eyes had taken on a glazed look as she examined the pile nearest to her. Even he couldn't stop the excitement that rushed through him as he took in the treasure trove of opportunity.

Ron took out his wand and had already started arranging the piles. 'To begin, let's start with what we have aptitude in. There will be one pile for Transfiguration, one for DADA, and one for Charms. Potions and Herbology we'll tackle later unless they somehow figure into the other subjects. Harry, you take DADA and Charms. Hermione can pick up on Transfiguration. And I-'

'You can take the Healing books. That will be very important if we are to incite a rebellion. If one of us gets injured, we can work some spells, but we won't be able to do anything against major wounds. If your Healing is strong...' Hermione trailed off.

Harry flourished his wand. 'Redimat!'

The practice dummy that stood before him split into twenty pieces, each sliding off slowly.

The demigods stood to one side, observing the rigorous practice that they made Harry, Hermione, and Ron do. In the past days, he had thrown himself into studies as he never had. He relished the sweat that dripped down his face, and the pride he felt knowing that he was one step closer to killing Voldemort.

Ron said, 'Hi-nehm.'

Flourishing his wand in a way the Egyptians (when Annabeth told him about them, he'd felt as if his head had been stretched past its snapping point) would, Ron shot a spell at the statue, which caused it to piece itself back together.

Ron plopped on the ground; this had been his tenth time attempting that spell. 'Why? Why the hell is this so draining? And when will we even use this? It's not like we'll have to glue each other back together.'

Jason picked him up by the hand. 'Well, the magic you use emerges from your wand and from the will you put into it. Egyptian magic comes from within; it taps into your innate reservoirs. As a result, the spells are stronger, but they lack versatility.'

That was not an answer, but Harry let it slide.

'Tapping reservoirs doesn't sound too good,' Ron said.

Annabeth grimaced. 'It isn't. Our friends Carter and Sadie? Their mother died when she completely used up her magic as she tried to contain the energy released when they tried to free a god. She used up her very soul to summon Ma'at, and it turned her to ashes.'
