As Mia settled into her seat next to Scarlett, the air around them buzzed with excitement and anticipation. Scarlett, ever the gracious hostess, showered Mia with compliments, her words flowing freely as she admired everything from Mia's elegant dress to her radiant complexion. "You look absolutely stunning," she exclaimed, her eyes alight with genuine admiration. "That dress is simply divine, and your hair and makeup are flawless!"

Across the table, Sterling's gaze lingered on Mia, his admiration evident in the soft curve of his smile. "Indeed, you're a vision tonight," he remarked, his voice carrying across the table. "Your smile could light up the entire room, and those eyes..." He paused, his gaze briefly meeting Mia's, before continuing. "They're like pools of honey, so warm and inviting."

Before Sterling could continue his praise, Sebastian, ever the attentive host, interjected, his voice warm and welcoming as he introduced Mia to his family. "Everyone, I'd like you to meet Mia," he said, gesturing toward her with a fond smile. "She's been an integral part of the literacy program, and tonight, I'm honored to have her as my guest."

Sebastian's mother, Erica, extended a warm welcome to Mia, her gratitude evident in her gentle smile and sincere words. "Thank you so much for your help with the literacy program," she said, her tone filled with appreciation. "Sebastian has been telling us all about your contributions, and we're truly grateful. This is all new to him, and having someone like you by his side has made all the difference."

Mia's surprise was palpable as she processed Erica's words. "Really?" she responded, her voice tinged with genuine astonishment. "He seemed like a natural." She glanced over at Sebastian, a soft smile playing at the corners of her lips. "I suppose he has a talent for making things look effortless," she added, her admiration for him shining through in her words.

Sebastian, seizing the opportunity to bridge the conversation, leaned in slightly. "Yes, Mia has been invaluable," he interjected, his eyes meeting Mia's briefly before returning to Erica. "I'm incredibly lucky to have her on board."

Erica nodded, her expression one of approval. "Well, Mia, we're thrilled to have you here tonight," she said warmly. "It's wonderful to finally put a face to the name." She gestured to the rest of the family gathered around the table. "This is Sterling," she continued, indicating her son sitting across from Mia, "and our daughter, Scarlett."

Sterling's gaze lingered on Mia for a moment, admiration evident in his eyes. "You look absolutely stunning tonight," he complimented sincerely, a charming smile gracing his features.

Mia blushed at the unexpected praise, offering a gracious smile in return. "Thank you, Sterling," she replied, her voice tinged with appreciation. "That's very kind of you to say."

Sebastian, sensing the need to move the conversation along, gently guided Mia's attention back to his mother. "And Mom, this is Mia's first time at Saint Liber," he added, a hint of pride in his voice. "I wanted her to experience it firsthand."

Erica's eyes sparkled with interest as she turned her attention back to Mia. "Well, we're delighted to have you here," she reiterated warmly. "And please, if there's anything you need, don't hesitate to ask. We want you to feel at home."

Mia nodded gratefully, feeling a sense of warmth and acceptance from Sebastian's family. "Thank you, Erica," she said sincerely. "I'm truly honored to be here."

As the conversation at the table continued, Silas Saint, Sebastian's father, shifted the topic to business matters, his demeanor becoming more serious as he directed his attention to Mia. With a commanding presence, he began to inquire about Mia's role and responsibilities in the literacy program, as well as her professional background prior to working with Sebastian.
