Enid's POV:

It's only the second day back at nevermore and I think i am already driving Wednesday insane.
"Can you stop?" Wednesday says in a fustrated tone.
"Sorry." I reply.
She doesn't say anything back, she's mad.
"Sorry, what am i supposed to stop doing?" I ask.
"You're phone is louder than the thunderscreech and you don't go more than 3 minuites without giggling or squeeling. It's annoying."
She says.
Yeah, i'm driving her insane.
"If you had TikTok, you'd do the same."
That probably wasn't the right thing to say.
I'm not sure why she's in a bad mood. Don't get me wrong, Wednesday definetly does not have the golden retreiver personality as I do, but she's even less jolly jolly today.
"What's put you in this wonderful mood anyways?"
Again, probably not a good thing to say.
"I refuse to show any entertainment in your sarcasm."
She says not facing me.
I have a feeling she's pretending to read her book, if she actually is then she has immense conserntration.
"Okay I know you're busy but I was wondering if you wanna go to this party with me tonight?"
I ask carefully.
"No."
She replies.
"You don't even know anything about it. Please? I don't want to go alone."
I say.
She sighs and closes her down. Not in a calm way.
"I know it's a party, that's enough information."
"I'm going to Jericho with Yoko to get an outfit, i'll convince you later."
I say grabbing my purse and walking towards the door.

Time skip - 1 hour

"How does this one look?"
I ask walking out of the changing room in the 5th dress i've tried on.
"It looks good."
Yoko replies.
"You've said that for all of them."
I say.
"Because all of them look good."
"Okay whatever, at least pick between the pink and purple."
"Purple."
I pick up the purple dress and we head towards checkout.
"You brining Wednesday?"
Yoko asks.
"Hopefully, i still need to try convince her."
"Oh you'll convince her."
Yoko says in a playful tone.
"What's that supposed to mean? Why'd you say it like that?"
"Nothing."
Yoko replies looking away, then back at me.
I tilt my head hinting her to confess whatever she's thinking.
"Well you know you guys have that thing, and, well, you know."
She finally says.
"Yoko, you sound like a robot. What are you saying? What 'thing'?"
She sighs and turns so she's looking foward to face me.
"In my opinion there's this tension between you guys therefore I think you have the ability to convince her."
"What do you mean 'tension'?"
"Just everything you pointed out about last year when you thought you liked he-"
"I did not like her. It was a possibility."
"Right, whatever you say. Either way, my point about everything last year still stands."
"Whatever."
