Enid's POV:

The walk back to the dorm was fuzzy, like I was struggling to waking up or something.
I eventually zoned back into reality once I was in the shower.
Stepping out and getting dressed was painful, though.
I exit and Wednesday is reading.
Maybe I didn't wake up properly yet.
"Weds?"
"Sinclair." She says, not looking up from her book.
"Why aren't you asleep?" I ask.
"I wanted to, well, just incase you, never mind. Just wanted to catch up on some reading." She stutters.
"Thank you." I say, although she didn't say it, I know she didn't stay up to read.
"You should get some rest."
She says.
"Yep. Night Weds."  I say walking over to my bed.
"Goodnight."
That's the first time we've ever exchanged goodnights.
I felt the need to turn, but my body ached too much.
I attempted to straighten my legs, but when I do my foot meets something wet.
I reach for my phone and turn on the flash.
"Enid, you know if you start scrolling you won't stop. Put the phone down."
Wednesday says.
"Wait." I reply.
I shine the flash under my covers.
My covers that were once pink, are now red.
"Wednesday, I think the injury on my leg is worse than I thought."
"What?" She says before rushing over.
She looks.
"Is it painful?" She asks.
"Not really." I reply.
It looks horrible, i'm unsure how it doesn't hurt.
"I'll clean it up and bandage it." She says walking to her side of the dorm to retrieve a first aid kit.
She kneels beside my leg and gently removes the blood with a damp paper towel. We fall into a comfortable silence as she slowly wraps the bandage around my wounded leg.
"You're all set. Go lay in my bed so I can take your sheets to the washroom."
"The washroom is closed." I remind her.
"Oh, right. I'll just put them in a pile until tomorrow."
"Okay."
I stand awkwardly in the middle of the room. Wednesday turns to face me again, "are you gonna get in or sleep standing?" She asks.
"I can't take your bed, Weds."
"Well, where else will you sleep?"
"The floor."
"Absolutely fucking not. Not after tonight, get in."
It was rare to hear Wednesday swear, she obviously didn't like my suggestion of me sleeping on the floor.
"Where will you sleep?" I ask her as I get comfortable in her bed.
"I was thinking i'd stay up anyways."
"You know, you could also sleep here."
I expect her to reject the offer, not politely.
"If you'd like, I guess I can make an exception." She says.
"I'd like that." I say, I regret my words but Wednesday doesn't seem to mind.
I move over and Wednesday climbs in.
"Okay, now you can rest." She says, her words spoken so close I could feel her warm breath.
"Thank you for today." I say.
I hope me brushing my teeth wasn't an illusion considering our faces are less than 5 centimetres apart.
"No need to thank me, Sinclair."
We fall into comfortable silence again.
I want to force myself to close my eyes, but Wednesday is starting right at me, not in a creepy way.
"Enid?" Wednesday says.
I knew I should've started to sleep before I had to be told, again.
"Yeah?"
"Can I kiss you?"
