Wednesdays POV:

"Why did I have to be a damn wolf." Enid says in an irritated tone.
"You'll be okay." I reassure her.
"What if it was just that one time? What if I get there and don't wolf out?"
"Enid, I promise you, you'll be okay. Come on, we're already running late."
I say swinging my bag over my shoulder.
We both exit the dorm and stand by the door for a second.
Enid looks at me, "i'm scared."
"I know you are."
I freeze when she takes my hand.
I don't say or do anything, though, just walk.

Time skip- 20 minutes

"Enid, you're going to break my hand."
I say as we sit outside the cages.
"Sorry, nervous."
"That's alright. Should we get you in?" I ask.
"I guess so." Enid responds looking at the building full of cages for the wolves.
We walk inside, it's not as run down as I assumed it'd be.
"Any cage?" I ask.
"Yeah."
We walk towards the first free space we see, luckily we managed to cut in line.
"Do you need me to lock it?"
"Mhm."
I crouch down to her level as she's sitting down.
I tuck her hair behind her ear, "you're going to do great, i'll be outside waiting when you're done."
"You're not going to lea-"
"I promise, i'm not going anywhere."
Enid nods and I lock the cage door.
"Good luck, Enid." Another wolf says passing us.
"Thanks." Enid says.
I leave the building of cages and sit myself on a bench outside and reach for my book I packed.
I assumed it'd be a good time to read and learn about wolves.

Time skip - 1 hour and 30 minutes

Trying to read next to a building full of wolves on a full moon was not a good idea.
The past 30 minutes have been even worse, people began arriving to unlock cages.
They should really hire staff to do this.
It's shocking that there's only one member, and they don't even lock and unlock the cages, they just open and shut the doors to the building.
They stay in there with the wolves, though. Just incase, sometimes transformations go wrong.

The large door to the building opens.
I was already by the front of the door so I get in first.
I try to only run in situations where it is necessary, running makes you look impatient and desperate.
In this case running is an exception.
"Enid!" I shout when my eyes meet her tired body on the floor.
I push the cage open using all my strength and crouch down to her.
"You okay?" I ask.
"I'm okay. I did it, Wednesday. I did it!" She answers, she sounds relieved.
"I'm proud of you, Sinclair."
I wrap my jacket around her,
"Can you walk?"
"I don't think so, I think I hit my leg on the wall a little too hard."
"That's okay."
I pick her up, only because she's injured, of course.
