Wednesdays POV:

I feel a drop of wetness meet the crown of my head just as Enid and I exit the building.
"Oh shoot. Is it raining?" Enid asks looking up at the cloudy sky.
"It seems like it." I reply.
"My hair!"
"Gosh, you know you're not in a life threatening situation, right?"
"You don't understand the pain of rain after you curled your hair." Enid says in an aggitated tone.
"You're dramatic, one second." I respond, finally letting go of her hand.
I take my now free - and extremely sweaty -  hand to take my umbrella out of my bag.
I lift it above mine and Enids head, "That better?"
"Thanks." She sounds relieved.
"We can skip the book store, if you'd like."  I never needed to go  in the first place, anyways.
"You sure?" Enid asks.
"The rains picking up, can't risk getting your hair wet."
"Looks like we'll  have to wait." Enid says looking towards the bus stop.
I look over to see a bus pulled over next to three police cars.
"Come  on." I say, retaking Enids hand.
"We could just come back later."
"Sherrif, what's going on?" I ask the sherrif I do not recognise.
"And you are?" The sherrif asks, scribbling in a pocket notebook after taking only a small glance at me.
He look at me again a few seconds later, "Oh, Wednesday Addams, correct?"
"Correct."
"Buses will be running in about an hour, if it's an emergency police can drive you back to nevermore." The sherrif says.
"No emergency, but whats going on?"
"No offence, Wednesday, but I have no reason to tell you."
I feel  myself grow more fustrated, the police failed their job last time, theres a good chance they'll do  it again.
"Is it connected to nevermore?" I ask.
"No."
"Then what is it? Is it serious?" Another question.
"Heard you were peristant. Also heard you enjoyed trying to solve cases that you're most definetly not supposed to."
"I am  persistant,  so just tell me!" I say in an aggitated tone.
"There was an issue with the driver, okay? Nothing serious, nothing you'd care to look into."  The sherrif says, also sounding aggitated.
"Weds, just leave it." Enid says in a soft tone.
I walk away, dissapointed.
"You okay?" Enid asks.
"I'm fine, Enid."
"You sound mad."
"I'm not mad!" I shout.
Enids facial expression tells me that upset her.
"I'm sorry." I say taking a step closer to her.
"You know what, it's fine, your fustrated and I pushed you, my fault." Enid says not lookig at me.
God, i'm such an idiot.
"Enid, look at me." I say using my hand to lift her head.
"I'm sorry, I was fustrated."
"It's fine, really."
"I dislike that I got angry at you like that, it won't happen again." I say softly, hoping she'll believe me.
"Weds, really, it's okay."
I want to hug her, is that weird?
Thinking about it, yes, that's extremely weird.
Whats the worst that can happen? I've done it before, should be able to do it again.
"Oi, whatcha thinking about?" Enid asks.
I don't answer, I just hug her.
She wraps her arms around me slowley, I assume she's suprised.
Fortunetly, she doesn't say anything, we just stand there for a few minuites until I pull away.
"Come on, you lil' softie." Enid says with a wide smile and cheeks the colour of a tomato.
She's terrible at hiding her emotions.
