Chapter eight

Enids POV:

"Hey guys!" I say sitting next to Divina.
"Hey, you staying for pizza?" Yoko asks.
"No, i'm going to Jericho with Weds." I reply.
"Weds a new nickname?" Bianca asks in a playful tone.
"I didn't mean to say that." I say and sip on my drink before I turn bright red.
"I thought things were weird between you guy." Yoko says.
"They were after the Ajax thing. At least I thought they were. She just asked me if I wanted to go to Jericho with her."
I explain.
"Sounds like she's scared of losing you again." Yoko says.
"I don't know, she's confusing."
"So, you gonna admit you like her yet?" Bianca asks.
"I already did admit it."
"To Yoko, I wanna hear the confession. A full confession."
I take a deep breath, i've technically never admitted it out loud, not even to myself.
"I like Wednesday Addams in a romantic way." I say quickly whilst locking eye contact with the floor.
Theres a mixture of woo-ing and clapping coming from everyone.
"Okay, okay, i'm leaving." I say slightly giggling.
"Enid Sinclair sit down right now."
Yoko says seriously.
I sit back down and everyones laughter fades.
"We need a plan." Yoko says with a smirk.
"Yes!" Davina agrees.
"What do you mean a plan?" I ask.
"Well, you can't just crush on her forever." Yoko answers.
"Why not? I can't do anything because I don't know if she likes me. Yes theres the things I pointed out about last year but that doesn't mean she likes me 100%. Also, it would ruin our friendship if she didn't like me, even if she did and we got together, what if we broke up?"
"Just do it, Enid. You're overthinking it, just drop hints at first and see how she reacts." Bianca says.
"Okay, maybe. I'll see you guys later."
I say throwing my bag over my shoulders ready to leave.

Time skip- 10 minutes

I begin approaching the dorm, kind of nervously.
I'm not good with hints, I would rather be straight to the point.
Wednesday is just confusing, I have no idea as to if she does or doesn't like me.
As i'm about to open the door I hear Wednesday talking.
I press my ear against the door to guess who's she's talking to.
She said she had a call with Eugene but I didn't think their calls lasted this long.
"It's complicated. Either way I do care about Enid, if I were to be in a romantic relationship with her I would ruin it and upset her. I wasn't made to be a girlfriend."
Wednesday says to Eugene.
My heart sinks.
Wednesday Addams likes me?
