Chapter five

Wednesdays POV:

My eyes widen to a knock at the door.
I checked the time in panic, Enid's not here so I assumed it was late.
It's 8am.
I open the door to see one of the last people I want to deal with right now.
"My least favourite vampire, horray." I say sarcastically, death staring Yoko.
"Dramatic much, you know you have to be nice to me." She says letting herself in.
"What do you want? And where's Enid?" I ask.
"Oh she's with Ajax."
What. The. Fuck.
I have the urge to pinch myself to check if i'm dreaming, but I don't.
Enid and Ajax broke up months ago, there was never any drama, it was a mutual agreement apparently.
What could they possibly have to talk about?
"Why is she with him?" I ask.
Yoko doesn't answer, she just laughs.
This time I decide to pinch myself.
Yep, this is real. I'm confused, tired, and not in the mood to deal with Yoko.
"Why are you laughing?" I ask aggitated.
"Oh my." She says catching her breath from laughing so much.
"Talk, or, disrespectfully get out."
"Sorry, sorry. God you guys need, like, what would you call it? Crush therapy? Future lovers therapy?"
She says looking at the ceiling, still laughing.
"Okay I am one more giggle away from riping your throat out. What are you talking about?"
"The whole jealousy thing you guys have is so obvious, like, just kiss or something."
"Your dealer up your dosage or something? Oh, or, if your drink was spiked you should probably see a doctor." I say.
"Okay i'll be straight up."
"Great, can't wait." I say annoyed.
"You in love with Enid?" She asks.
I obviously didn't pinch myself hard enough earlier.
It's 8am, imbicile is lucky she's still breathing.
"You're insane. Unless you know why Enid is with Ajax, get out."
"You're not denying it!" Yoko says smirking.
"Out. Now."
"You're both so indenial and difficult. Everyone knows you're both secretly in love literally just admit it." She says.
I place my hands on her shoulders and push her out.
"Think about it!" Yoko says cheerfully as i close the door.

Time skip - 1 hour

I'm ready and Enid still isn't back.
I need some sort of distraction. Yoko is wrong, I can't let her get to my head.
I'm not jealous that she's with him, i'm curious. Stupid vampire.
Maybe a walk will help clear my head.
I swing my bag over my shoulder and open the door to see Ajax and Enid.
"Oh, I thought you'd still be asleep." Enid says.
I walk past her, i'll talk to her about it later.
It's probably better that I don't try talking. It's early and i had to spend my morning not just having a conversation with Yoko but the most aggitating conversation.
Not that I care what I may say out of fustration, I just don't want to deal with the possible outcome.
I don't quite know why i'm frustrated, I don't have romantic feelings for Enid as everyone is for whatever reason implying, therefore i'm not jealous.
Maybe it's just because she didn't tell me. This is confusing, i'll figure it out.
