Lie in the woodlands half-asleep
Your eyes, in emerald dreams, have sunk
In memories too far to keep
The realms of bliss and nectar-drunk
The stars above will wash away
Your pain, they'll heal with silver hands
And you will live another day
And carry light to darkened lands
How swiftly flies the golden age
Away we go with no farewell
Just dreams and ink upon a page
But living still in tales you tell
But if you close your eyes and sing
Of realms untouched by blood and tears
You will remember everything
Though long ago, we've disappeared
