I've heard that seeing stars is like peering into the fading past,
They twinkle, they shine, taking you back in time—fascinating, isn't it?
Gazing at stars, peering into a distant time,
I catch a glimpse of your gentle smile,
A journey back in time we left behind,
It's been a while, a long night, no warmth to find.
Running past blooming mustard fields, we'd roam,
Sitting by the river, catching our breath, as we sing along.
Now passing the same old path we'd drawn,
This time, I'm all alone and you're gone; only the emptiness has grown.
Stars twinkle, revealing a fading past,
Reminding me that nothing can forever last.
You reside in a distant time yet I still feel you here,
Far apart, yet so near, wishing you'd suddenly appear.
Looking at stars, memories stir deep within my heart,
Unlocking moments that will never truly depart.
