Nightmares

I was trying to hide my frustration, but I don't think I'm doing a very good job at it. Because I had been shot in the shoulder only a few hours ago, I was not allowed to do much in the field. This meant that I had to sit near the bunker they were infiltrating in a vehicle with a laptop, remotely controlling the droid from above. 

I had wanted to argue with Pierce, my winning point would be that I had been shot in the arm and still gone after Graves, but I chose not to. Sometimes it's best to stay back. I know that Johnny and Simon would be worried about me if I was on the field, and that could get them hurt.

The picture of the bunker came up clear on the monitor as I used the joystick to carefully maneuver the droid.

"All stations. Bravo 6 on the X kilo?" Price said over the coms.

"Kilo, set." Farah said

"Copy. Your drones on station. You and Farah have the con." I said

"Affirm." Price said

"Lotta Russians. Konni's brought an army into Urzikstan." Gaz said

"No missile in sight. Simon said

"They're in the bunkers then." Johnny said

"I see an entry point. Marking now. You'll need a keycard to get in." I said

"Lunas right. We took down a captain in our sector with a keycard earlier. Had a red beret." Johnny said

"Roger. Red beret." Price said

"I spotted one near the steel building, north of the entry." I said

"Red beret. That's my target." Price said

"Good. Track him and get his keycard. Use it on the door for entry." Farah said

"And you?" Price asked her

"I know another way In." Farah said

I listened into the chatter over the coms as I watched them from above, keeping an eye on their movements and warning them if there were enemies nearby ready to surprise them.

"0-6, Captain, do you copy?" Gaz asked over the coms

"Go for six." Price responded

"Konni's put Makarovs chemicals into the warheads. They're gonna launch." Gaz said

The talking fell silent again, supposedly Price and Farah were talking to each other about what to do. I can only hope they can stop the missiles from being launched. My hopes dropped fast when my brother spoke over the coms in a panicked voice.

"All stations, Konni's initiated missile launch at my location. I can't stop it." Johnny said

"What is the target?" Price asked

"Arklov base in Kastovia!" Johnny said

"Oh, no...Laswell." Price said worriedly. She had told us that she was going there to meet a contact, and now she was in danger of being blown up and poisoned with a chemical gas that melts your face off. I then spotted a Konni helo heading for Price's position.

"Luna, you seein' this?" Gaz asked me over the com

"I'm seeing it, Gaz." I replied

"Cap, I've got visual on a Konni helo incoming on your position. They're bringing in reinforcements, you need to move!" Gaz said

"Konni's all over the surface. They're guarding the tower." Price said after a minute of radio silence.

"Cut through them. I'll hold the launch as long as I can." Farah said
