It's more than that

A private island with crazy security, and intel from the man who once kidnapped me and flew me to a different country, what could go wrong? Persuading Price that I was good to go even though I had been shot in the arm was a difficult task, but I had managed it, somehow.

The ocean breeze on my skin was welcome, and the scent was calming even though the situation wasn't. I held onto the side of the small boat as we floated nearby the island.

"Weapons hot, Johnny. Storms coming." Simon said to my brother

"Gimme a sitrep." Laswell said over the coms

"On target, watched. Bout to split up." Simon said

"I got eyes in the sky- let's go to work, Bravo." Laswell said

"Goin in." Johnny said as he got up on the side of the boat, preparing to dive in.

"Be careful." I said. Johnny nodded before he turned and dived into the water, leaving Simon and I on the boat together. It was just my luck that I would be by myself for most of this mission with him.

"Copy. Primary objective is the FOB key. Milena's security officer has it. He's out HVI right now." Laswell said as Simon began to steer the boat across the water.

"Soap, he'll be on your side of the island." Laswell said

"His unlucky day, I'll track him." Johnny said. The two of them stopped talking over our coms, probably talking on a secure channel to avoid us getting caught.

Simon and I were tasked with securing the perimeter, while he steered the boat I was to shoot anyone who spotted us. I held a sniper rifle in my hand as we went, checking through the scope every now and then to make sure I don't miss anything.

"Moving to secure the perimeter- I'll be on coms." Simon said

"Good luck L.T." Johnny replied

"Good luck, Luna. Oh, thanks Johnny. I'm glad you remembered my existence." I said sarcastically into the comms

"Good luck, Loony." Johnny said sassily. I could hear laughter in his voice.

"Boat to your left." Simon said as he cut the engine. I changed my position, noticing the speed boat he had pointed out. I checked through the scope of my rifle to see that there were five men on board.

"Five Konni's. If I'm lucky, I can take them all without them even knowing." I said

"Well, let's see if lucks on our side." Simon said

I didn't reply as I focused on my target. One of the men moved away from the others and stood at the edge of the boat, looking out into the water. I glanced over at the others, noticing that none of them were paying attention. I steadied my aim and pulled the trigger, hitting the man directly in the head and knocking him overboard. Luckily the water was so rough that the splash didn't alert them to the problem.

Two of the men then moved over to the other side, looking out for any enemies. I lined up my scope and took fire, hitting both of them with one bullet. It didn't take me long to take out the other two, none of them even realized what had hit them.

"Good shooting." Simon said

"Thanks." I said as I sat up again. Simon began to steer the boat again, moving us through the water.

"So...about last night." I said

"What about it?" Simon asked with a sigh

"I thought we should talk about it." I said

"Talk about it? We had sex, what's there to talk about?" Simon asked

"Don't do that." I said with a tense voice. I won't deny that his tone and his choice of words hurt.
