I let out a quiet sigh of relief as I stepped out of the vehicle and out into the tunnel. I had been pushed between Simon and Johnny as we traveled down the channel tunnel, and it had been a tight squeeze. I'm usually one to appreciate how wide Simon's shoulders are, but the ache in my shoulders made me feel a little differently.

"Boys." Gaz greeted the team who were waiting for us in the tunnel

"Captain Price. At your service sir…" the leader of the team was cut off by Price.

"Right. I need half your men with my Lieutenant. The rest of you on me!" Price ordered

"Copy that. Form up!" One of them called out

"All right, stay close- follow my orders. Let's get those doors…yeah?" Price said

I moved to follow Price and Johnny towards a large yellow door, but a hand landed on my wrist and stopped me. I turned my head to see Simon's brown eyes staring into mine.

"Be careful. I'll see you soon." He said in a quiet tone, worry shining through his gaze

"Yeah, you too." I squeezed his hand that was holding my forearm and gave him a reassuring smile. He nodded and let go, turning and walking in another direction with the other men.

I turned and walked over to Price and Johnny who were standing in front of the door. They both had confused expressions on their faces.

"Fuck was that?" Johnny asked with a suspicious gaze

"Nothing." I defended myself

"Sure it was." Price nodded with a unbelieving expression and a hint of amusement in his eyes. He then stepped forward and grabbed onto the handle of the metal door and pulled hard, opening it up so we could get through.

"On you sir." Johnny said as we stepped through the doors with our guns raised, muscles tensed and on high alert.

We turned the first corner and a train came speeding down the tracks right in front of us. My heart jumped in my chest at the unexpected noise and movement. The speed of the vehicle blasting a gust of hot air in our direction.

"Steamin' Jesus." Johnny muttered, also having been caught off guard.

We moved past the train and continued along the side of the tracks. My hands tightened around my gun when a thought passed through my mind. A thought about Simon. The fact that I'm not with him makes me nervous, I have more to fear than losing my own life now. I have Johnny and Simon, and one of them isn't with me. It was different when I was on my other team. I cared for them, they were my friends, but I never felt anything quite like this.

"Watcher- If Makarov's controlling trains? Can we regain access?" Price asked, knocking me out of my thoughts and back to the mission at hand.

"Attempting to breach their firewall. That hacker was good." Laswell replied

"Konni spotted ahead." One of the men from the team who were accompanying us said

"They don't see us." Johnny said

"Let's keep it that way, yeah…?" Price asked

Johnny took the lead and I kept low behind him. We crept along the tunnel towards the Konni's. They were talking amongst themselves, I absentmindedly held my breath as I listened to what they were saying.

"Need that last part to assemble the turret." A Konni said

"Should be coming soon." Another said

"ETA?" The first Konni asked
