Charlotte sat in the Red Bull garage, her gaze fixed on the screens displaying the thrilling action of the race. Despite the excitement pulsating through the air, her mind couldn't shake off the lingering conversation with her father. The disappointment in his eyes still echoed in her mind, casting a shadow over the joyous atmosphere of the race.

Her mother, Geri, noticed the somber expression on her daughter's face and approached her with concern. "Lottie, darling, is everything okay?" she asked, her voice filled with maternal worry.

Charlotte forced a smile, brushing off her mother's concern with a wave of her hand. "I'm fine, Mum," she reassured her, her voice tinged with a hint of nervousness. "Just a bit nervous for Max, that's all."

It wasn't a complete lie. Charlotte did feel a sense of apprehension for Max Verstappen, Red Bull's star driver and someone she regarded as a big brother figure. He was the only one she could confide in about her strained relationship with her father, the one person who understood the complexities of her life in the fast lane.

But beneath her support for Max, there was a secret allegiance that tugged at her heartstrings. A part of her couldn't help but root for Lewis Hamilton as he battled for victory on the track.

As the race reached its thrilling conclusion, Max crossed the finish line in first place, with Lewis close behind in second. The garage erupted into cheers and applause, the cameras capturing every moment of their celebration.

Charlotte joined in the jubilation, clapping and cheering along with the rest of the team. But beneath the facade of happiness, a secret sorrow gnawed at her heart. She couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness for Lewis.

As the team began to make their way towards the podium celebration, Charlotte moved to follow them, eager to join in the festivities. But before she could take a step, her father's voice stopped her in her tracks.

"Lottie, stay here," he commanded, his tone brooking no argument. Charlotte's heart sank as she reluctantly obeyed, knowing that her father's watchful eye would keep her from following the desires of her heart.
