Charlotte sighed as she scrolled through her phone, the glow of the screen casting a soft light in the dimly lit room. The familiar ache in her heart resurfaced as she read the news of Lewis' victory at the Miami GP. Relief washed over her, knowing that he had triumphed on the track once again, but a pang of sadness lingered beneath the surface.

Two weeks had passed since their heated argument, and in that time, Charlotte and Lewis had barely spoken. The distance between them weighed heavily on her, a constant reminder of the rift that had formed between them.

Being back home in England provided some solace, offering her a temporary escape from the pressures of the racing world. She was grateful for the distraction of filming the new Versace perfume ad, throwing herself into her work with renewed determination.

But despite the busy schedule and the glamorous surroundings, Charlotte couldn't shake the nagging doubts that plagued her mind. Lewis' words had cut deep, stirring up feelings of uncertainty and insecurity. Was he right? Did Max have genuine feelings for her?

The thought lingered in the back of her mind, casting a shadow over her thoughts as she tried to focus on the task at hand. Supporting two drivers in the championship race felt like an emotional rollercoaster, one that she couldn't seem to escape from.

As she wrapped up the shoot and prepared to head home, Charlotte couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to be open about her relationship with Lewis, to be by his side in Miami celebrating his victory. But for now, those thoughts remained nothing more than wishful thinking, distant dreams that she dared not speak aloud.
