The Emilia Romanga GP was underway, and Charlotte found herself on edge as she watched from the Red Bull garage. The anticipation crackled in the air, a potent mix of excitement and nerves as the engines roared to life. Lewis had qualified in first place, with Max close behind in third. The tension was palpable, a thick fog that hung over the garage.

Charlotte's eyes were glued to the screen, her heart pounding in her chest with every passing moment. She couldn't tear her gaze away as the cars raced down the track, a blur of colors streaking by in a symphony of speed and precision. Max, ever the daring driver, made a bold move to overtake, sending a ripple of anticipation through the garage. "They can't both fit!" she blurted out, unable to contain her nerves as the cars seemed to dance dangerously close to each other.

Then, disaster struck.

In a split-second, everything changed. Max's car collided with Lewis', sending them both careening off the track in a whirlwind of chaos. The sickening sound of metal against metal echoed through the air, followed by a deafening silence as the cars came to a halt. Charlotte gasped, her hand flying to her mouth in shock as she watched the horrifying scene unfold before her eyes.

Her heart hammered in her chest as she scanned the wreckage, her mind racing with fear and uncertainty. The sight of Lewis' car, with Max's tires precariously perched on top of the halo, sent a shiver down her spine. For a moment, time seemed to stand still as she held her breath, waiting for some sign of life from the drivers.

Amidst the chaos, Max's voice crackled over the radio, filled with fury and blame as he accused Lewis of causing the collision. Charlotte's heart sank as she listened, a knot of worry tightening in her stomach. But Lewis remained silent, his absence only adding to her sense of unease.

Then, finally, his voice came through, a beacon of reassurance in the darkness. "I'm okay," he said, his words a balm to her frayed nerves. Relief flooded through her, washing away some of the fear that had gripped her in its icy embrace.

But even as Lewis reassured her of his safety, Charlotte couldn't shake the feeling of dread that lingered in the air. The events of the race had left her shaken and unsettled, her mind spinning with questions and doubts. With a heavy heart, she turned away from the screen, seeking solace in the quiet confines of Max's dressing room, her thoughts still consumed by the terrifying events on the track.
