VII: Colabing With Crush

(Joeys POV)

"Hey Joey, we are all having dinner in the restaurant in the lobby. Tell Daniel! His room is right across from yours." I smiled as my manager told me this, finding out that Daniel is so close. I nodded and she and left.

I think I'm starting to really like him. I know he has a boyfriend but I just can't help it. I don't know which could hurt me more, keeping my feelings inside forever or rejection.

I might have even noticed Daniel flirting with me. Or maybe he was just being friendly. I know how I would find out though. Tonight at dinner I would flirt a little with Daniel and see how he reacts.

If he reacts well and flirts back, I might take things a bit further. If he seems uncomfortable then I will back off. I can't just make a move on him though, he is already in a relationship.

I unpacked my suitcase to find and outfit perfect for dinner. This place wasn't too fancy so I found a nice shirt with casual pants. I put it on and touched up my hair.

"Time to go see Daniel." I said to myself. I opened the door to my hotel room and walked about two feet to Daniel's.

I took a deep breath and knocked on his door. I heard rustling from inside and then heard Daniel call out, "Come in!" I opened the door and was shocked at what I saw.

Daniel was sitting on his bed... shirtless. I immediately forgot why I came in and stuttered. "So... Um... So..." Daniel laughed and I blushed.

He got up and started putting a shirt on. I suddenly remembered what I was saying. "So we are all having dinner together in the lounge downstairs in a few minutes."

He nodded and smiled his cute smile. I took this as my cue to leave having already embarrassed myself. I made my way back to my room and collapsed on my bed.

"Ugh! I'm so obvious! I can't have him knowing that I like him." I thought over my plan for a while and finally left my room to head downstairs.

Just as I was leaving my room, Daniel walked out of his. He smiled and we began walking together. Great, more chances to embarrass myself!

Stay calm Joey, I reminded myself. "You look nice!" I said. Wow eager much? He didn't seem to take it like that and smiled.

"Thanks you do too." I blushed but became sad remembering that Luke was here and will probably be joining us to dinner.

"What would you like sir?" The waiter asked me. Oh shit. I was too distracted by the man sitting across from me to look at the menu. I told her something that every restaurant has and added it to her list.

I can't be so distracted! I told myself as I was watching Daniel flirt with the waitress...which was a girl. "Don't you have a boyfriend?" I joked after the waitress left.

Daniel laughed and replied with "Jealous much?" I laughed in response because honestly yea, I guess I was a little jealous of Daniel's boyfriend.

"Speaking of boyfriends, where is Luke?" Daniel's face dropped and I could tell he was sad that Luke wasn't here. "Oh he um... Didn't feel well."

I nodded and gave a sympathetic smile but inside I was happy that Luke wasn't here. Does that make me a bad person? Even if they were a couple, I still want to be friends with Daniel.

I know he will still want to hang out with Luke this weekend, but I hope we can become closer. He even mentioned shooting a video together.

I was thinking about it when I realized, if we made a video and then the music video came out, everyone would think we are dating.

I could explain to everyone that we weren't, but crazed teenage fan girls don't tend to believe things like that. I still want to a make a video together.

The worst that could happen is everyone thinks I'm dating a smokin hot model. Oh my goodness gracianious that sounds terrible! I laughed out loud slightly and Daniel gave me a weird look.

"What are you thinking about?" He asked smiling. You, I thought. "Video ideas for tomorrow with you." I said.

"I have an idea! I saw you doing this a while ago and thought it sounded fun. The not my arms challenge?" I immediately imagined being inside a sweater with Daniel. I would not mind that one bit.

I blushed and responded with "That sounds awesome! Meet me in my room around noon tomorrow?" He smiled and we carried on with dinner. I can't wait for that!

"Beep! Beep! Beep!" My alarm clock woke me up telling me I had one hour to get ready to film with Daniel. I sat in bed for a while thinking over the video and what we would be doing.

He said he would bring over a big sweater for us to be in together. I imagined sitting in front of Daniel with his arms around me inside the sweater and his hands on my face.

I giggled like a little girl and covered my face with a pillow. "This is going to be a great video!" I said while I got up to get ready for the day.

An hour later I heard knocking at my door. I was vlogging so I finished up and answered the door. Daniel looked amazing wearing a simple red shirt and jeans. I looked him up and down forgetting everything.

"Hey Daniel! I'm just setting up for the video damn anya." He walked in and i motioned to the bed and he sat down on the edge in front of the camera.

"I'm still a sleepy boy! How are you?" I asked while I was setting up the camera. He looked kind of sad. "Yea I'm just tired I didn't sleep very well last night."

I gave him a sympathetic smile and tried to cheer him up before we filmed. "I'm really excited to make a video with you though! Like I said I've been watching your videos for a while now and I never thought I would have this opportunity."

I blushed and looked at the ground while I thanked him. He's so sweet. That's another thing I like about him.

"You ready to shoot boy!?" I asked Daniel sitting down next to him. "Ready Freddy gurl!" I laughed and began the video.

"Hoy! Hello there everyone! Today I am here with-" I motioned towards Daniel to say his name. "Daniel!" He said while making funny dance moves.

I giggled but tried to make it not too obvious that I was crushing big time on the boy sitting next to me. Most of my fans already assume that I am gay so they will probably think we are dating even though we aren't.

"So mister Daniel here is a good friend of mine and we are both working on my music video Don't Wait which will be out in a week or two!" I glanced at Daniel who was obviously enjoying this.

"So Joey what are we doing today?" He asked, moving the video along perfectly. "Today we are doing the not my arms challenge and are giving each other makeovers to make the other person pretty damn Anya! Let's do it."

Daniel got the giant sweater out and we decided who would be going first and how this would work. We decided that Daniel would be sitting in front of me first.

As we were struggling to get the sweater on we were a hysterical mess. It ended up with our faces squished together in the head whole with three arms out one sleeve.

I blushed realizing out faces were touching, moving, but wishing I didn't have to. After a few minutes we figured it out and began. "So I am getting ready for a party and need to look fierce!" Daniel said in his beauty guru voice.

I waved my arms around expressively and picked up the first thing I could find. "So first I am starting with the lipstick!" I felt all over his face and found his lips. I started applying it to what I thought was his lips but apparently was not.

"I am looking for a Miranda Sings look apparently, big lips are in style GURL!" I tried to keep in my laughter as Daniel attempted at a Miranda Sings impersonation.

"Daniel that is the worst Miranda voice I have ever heard!" I said jokingly. I can cut this out of the video. "Joey your being porn!" He said as I realized my hand was on his upper thigh. I quickly moved it away and blushed embarrassed.
