"Stay with me, stay with me. I got you. I got you." James carries a passed out Lina down the hallway of the Phoenix Foundation.
"That bomb was just a few blocks from here." Russ points to the scene.
"Someone...is sending a message." He heads inside with Lina.
"Oh, my God. Lina!" Evan jumps up. "What happened? What the hell happened?"
"Jim!" Matty rushes over.
"I'll explain in a bit. I need Eli, is he here?" James turns and the others follow. "Eli! Eli!"
"James?" Eli steps out. "Amanda!" He drops his drink and runs over. "What happened?" He carries Lina into the infirmary and lays her down.
"I was on my way out to see you guys about the bomb the went off and—and I found her like that on my doorstep." He cups Lina's face.
"Oh, my God." Desi pulls up Lina's shirt to reveal bruises and burns. "These look like burns."
"Lina." Riley cries, placing her hand on Lina's shoulder.
"What did you do?" Evan rasps out.
"Evan, I-"
"What did you do?" He fists James's shirt.
"I don't know! I don't know. I found her like that!"
"Yeah, like you just happen to find an interest in your son's life after all these years!" He lets him go. "And hers!" He points to Lina.
"She's got a pulse." Eli sets up an IV. "She's dehydrated. I need some room. Guys, please." He sniffles.
"Right. C'mon, everyone out. We'll know more when she wakes up. Because she will, c'mon." Russ leads everyone out but Mac and his father. Mac pulls a chair over and sits down, staring at Lina with tears in his eyes.

"She was tortured." Mac's voice breaks as he keeps his stare on Lina. "She was stabbed. The wounds are still fresh. She was let go maybe...two, three hours ago."
"Rape kit came back clean." Eli heads over and kisses his sister's forehead.
"Dad, you better tell me right now-"
"Son." James thickly swallows. "I have no idea what the hell is going on."
"But you know who did this to her! Right?"
"Let's not jump to conclusions now, son. Let's hear it from her, when she wakes up."
"I got her clothes." Riley enters. "Um, Vienna is gonna stay with Charlotte for a few more days." She wipes her face.
