"She's gotta learn one way or another that this can't happen again she doesn't understand our worry"

"She'll get there," Cassidy wrapped her arms around my neck from behind and kissed my cheek.

"Do you wanna make a quickie before we have to take the kids to school?"

"Yeah"

I turned around and she laid down on the bed and I hovered over her kissing her lips.

"Mommy, mama I'm ready for school," our youngest son Dale barged into our room.

"Wait I think I'm forgetting something hmmm is it your birthday tomorrow?" I asked him while getting off of Cassidy and she headed towards the closest.

"Nooo it's today"

"Today? Are you sure it's not tomorrow?"

"No it's today"

"I know I'm just messing with ya happy birthday," I grabbed him and tickled him making him giggle while Cassidy brought wrapped presents and balloons out of the closet.

"Are all those for me?" He gasped.

"Of course they're all for you but you only get to open one then you can open the rest later at your party"

"Really!"

"Yep"

"Open this one," Cassidy passed him a small wrapped box and the first thing he did was shake it to try to figure out what it was, then he spent no time ripping the wrapping paper off of it.

"You guys got me a phone!"

"We thought it was about time," Cassidy said.

"Thank you so much," He hugged me super tight then went to hug his mom.

"I can't wait to show my friends"

"Well be careful with it you don't want it broken, lost or stolen"

"Okay mom"

"Happy Birthday baby," Cassidy kissed his cheek.

"Happy Birthday!" Both Darcy and Dean came into the bedroom both with a wrapped gift that they individually had gotten for their brother.

"Darcy," I heard my name being yelled.

I looked back to see Jaiden smoking a cigarette on top of her car, she tossed the cigarette and got down before running towards me.

"Hi"

"I know it's kind of weird, but I miss you and was wondering if I could take you out this Saturday?"

"Like on a date," I smiled getting pretty excited.
