She shook her head and stood up going over to her bedside table and going through her drawers. She took out a pregnancy test and passed it to me a pregnancy that clearly read "pregnant" on it.

"I took two both came out positive"

"When was this?"

"Two days ago"

"And you didn't tell us?"

"You were already stressed out about Dean and everything so I didn't think it was the right time"

"Darcy how could you be this irresponsible a baby?"

"I wanna keep it"

"But what about Josephine does she know about this?"

"No you're the only one that knows"

"You can't keep it"

"What?"

"I'm sorry Darc but you can't have this baby you're too young"

"You're not forcing me to get rid of it I've already made up my mind"

"You're not even that far along it's not too late"

"I'm keeping this baby"

"Hey what's going on?" Cassidy walked in.

"Darcy's pregnant"

"She's trying to make me get rid of it"

"What!?"

"You can't keep keep that baby"

"Imma have to agree with your mom cause you're way too young to be carrying right now," Cassidy said.

"Fuck both of you guys nobody is telling me what to do it's my body my choice"

"You're not keeping that fucking baby," I said to her.

"I hate you"

"Oh here we go again with that, Darcy you're 16, you've got your whole future ahead of you right now and you were doing good, why would you let something like a baby hold you back?"

"Because it's what I want"

"Do you really think taking care of a baby if easy? If you think so then fine have one, but you're gonna have to take care of it on your own, on top of school, having a crying screaming baby keep you up all night"

"Finding a job so you can provide for it cause we're not gonna give you a penny for that thing, you might have to drop out of school because of how exhausted you are till the point you can't keep your grades up, and you might have to work two jobs to make ends meet so it's your choice"
