Darcy

A couple days goes by and I've been pretty depressed and cooped up in my room, all I could think about was my girlfriend still in the hospital hooked up to all those machines.

It breaks my heart every time I see her, I just hope she'll wake up soon.

What kind of monster would do this?

Only one person I could think of but who could hate a person that much? Sometimes I feel that it's too good to be true.

"Darcy!" My best friend Kim finally caught my attention.

"Huh?"

"You were daydreaming again"

"Sorry you were saying?"

"I was talking about a rumor I heard"

"What rumor,"

"Your ex is staying in Jersey"

"You're kidding?"

"It's just a rumor"

"Great," I rolled my eyes.

"Where's Jaiden you guys are always together"

"...She's in bed, sick," I lied.

Kim is my best friend but I don't want anyone to know what's actually going on cause it it gets out then everyone would know, more rumors would go out and I can't handle that.

"You're awfully distracted today"

"I'm fine"

"You sure?"

"Of course," I smiled at her.

"Hey you you're Darcy right?" That one girl Aria, Jaiden's ex came up to me.

"Yeah that's me," I awkwardly chuckled.

"You're so pretty mind if I sit?"

"No go ahead"

"I love your outfit it totally suits you I'm Aria by the way I'm sure you've heard of me"

"Thank you and yeah you're Jaiden's ex right?"

"Is that all I'm known for?"

"Sorry I didn't mean-"

"No you're good girl I was just messing with you, but how is everything with Jaiden and all? I know she asked you to be her girlfriend congrats"

"Thanks and everything is good between us"

"That's great she's good in bed huh?"

"Um"

"You can tell me, I mean it's not much of a secret girl you're glowing"

"I don't know how to answer that," I looked down at my hands to avoid eye contact, my cheeks were burning red.
