"Do you mind if we go over to your house for the project?" I asked Darcy as we were hanging out in my car eating lunch together.

"No we can go"

"Cool," I finished rolling my blunt then sat it down on the dashboard to look for my lighter

"Why do you do drugs?" Darcy asked me while taking a bite of her vegan burger

"I just smoke weed Cherry," I chuckled

"That's still a drug"

"I'm okay," I smiled at her then kissed her little nose making her blush

"You love making me blush don't you?"

"You love asking a lot of questions don't you?" I pulled out my lighter from my pocket

"How else am I supposed to get to know you?"

"You will"

"Why the rush?"

"I don't know," she slouched back in her seat and took another bite of her burger

"Treasure this your new girlfriend?" Drey asked me while approaching my car as we got out

"Why do you ask?" I hid Darcy behind me cause I knew he was about to start some shit

"Cause she's cute or whatever"

He touched her hair so I backed her up farther behind me

"She's my girlfriend and a lesbian so don't fucking touch her"

"Prove that she's yours"

"Follow along" I mouthed to her before pulling her in by the waist and kissed her lips

"Now would you leave us the fuck alone?" I told him after pulling away

"Fine," He grabbed me and pushed me against my car "But I want my shit"

"I told you I don't sell that anymore shit go find someone who does and get the fuck off me I'm through with you"

I pushed him off me but he punched me in the face so I tackled him to the ground then started punching his face while I was on top of him, I was going to do much worse to him but all I heard was Darcy's cries and that made me stop punching him and just left him defeated on the ground to make sure Darcy was okay.

"It's okay" I pulled her into a hug and tried to calm her from the Anxiety attack she was having

"I'm okay," I moved hair out of her face and wiped her tears

"Does that hurt?" Darcy asked me while cleaning my knuckles in her bathroom

"Yeah but I'm used to it Cherry"

"Why do you fight?"

"To protect myself"

"But you're going to get yourself hurt"

"You worry too much," I grabbed her cheeks and creased them with my thumb

"That's because I care about you"

"I'm fine Cherry don't worry about me"

"...That was my first kiss"

"Yeah"

"Damn girl you keep surprising me but I'm sorry about that I just didn't want him to hurt you"

"It's okay I knew you were trying to protect me... though I did like the kiss," She grabbed my hands and looked up into my eyes, she closed her eyes and leaned in but then we heard a knock on the bathroom door.

"Come in"

Darcy said and the door opened revealing Dale her youngest brother

"Sorry little dude we were heading out"

I got off of the sink and messed with his hair before walking out of the bathroom with Darcy.

"Let's work on the project," I said

"Okay" Darcy fiddled with her fingers and looked down at her feet

"What does it feel like?" Darcy asked

"What does what feel like?"

"It says here 'have you ever had sexual intercourse?' So that's why I asked"

"It's supposed to make you feel good"
