I woke up in the middle of the night and I was in cuddled up with Darcy who was laying on my chest. She was in my clothes because she spent a night, even though she didn't mean to I wanted her to stay.

I just wanted to be close to her. I couldn't sleep ever since I found myself in bed with Aria. I knew damn well if I wasn't blacked out I wouldn't have gone near her.

I fucking hate myself.

I slowly got out of bed trying my best not to wake Darcy, almost failing in the slightest, thankfully she just rolled to the other side and grabbed onto a pillow.

I tiptoed out of my bedroom and went downstairs to the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water. Maybe it'll help me sleep.

"What are you doing up?" My mom asked me.

I turned over and took notice of her walking into the kitchen with her work glasses on, her computer wrapped in one arm and a cup of coffee in her other hand.

"Thirsty"

"It's late"

"Exactly," I said referring to her getting another cup of coffee.

"Your father wrote his article wrong so I've been up all night trying to fix it"

"Why don't he just do it himself?"

"Because I don't trust his writing skills and we could use the money"

"Oh"

"Is your girlfriend still here?"

"Yeah"

"You better not get that girl pregnant"

"Jesus fucking Christ," I mumbled to myself and threw my water out into the sink along with the cup.

"I'm serious Jaiden"

"So much for a normal conversation"

"Thank you for the ride home," Darcy said to me.

"No need to thank me," I cupped her cheek and leaned in kissing her lips.

"I love you Darcy"

"I love you too Jaiden"

"No I mean I really love you, you're the best thing that's happened to me"

"You okay?" She asked with concern written all over her face.

I wanted to cry, I really do love Darcy I just can't tell her about Aria or the fact that I was blacked out drunk, it'll ruin everything that we have I can't risk that.

I can't lose her.

"Some family shit but it's not something you should worry about I'm okay"

"You promise"

"Yeah I promise"

"Okay"
